Moved in beginning of the year First off, I was greeted warmly and kindly. The employees guided me and my roomie through whatever questions we had in mind.
Upon moving in, we did have our ups and downs. For example, toilet seat was left unscrewed, but it didn't bother us that badly and also I did not want to contact maintenence. Turns out, however, maintenance was the answer! They responded within a few days and fixed the seat, so it's all locked in place now! Maintenance was also very sweet, so ...
do not be afraid or nervous to send a ticket. Just get it over with and the problem will be resolved within 30 minutes or maybe even less... depending on your problem.
I chose a room bigger than when the one I had before moving out. Perfectly square, wide enough window frame to bask in the light, and sliding doors that don't take up space! I did not even expect America to have such doors, so it was a very nice surprise.
Atmosphere is nice; neighbors are nice--I've had neighbors that wanted to help me out when I struggled to move my belongings into the apartment. I'm just a homebody, so maybe my words won't mean much, but these are my thoughts.
And whenever I get the motivation to walk outside for mail or a stroll, I try to greet every person I see!
