Horrible management

I have lived here for five years and it has been traumatizing. The apartment manager turns over at least every year, if not earlier. I've had ants, roaches, silverfish. Neighbors are disrespectful and loud, and will just leave their trash on the ground in the laundry room and management does nothing about any of these issues because we don't have an onsite manager (which is also illegal, by the way). I hate this place.

Leaks all over the garage causing permanent paint damage and a slipping hazard, grounds are poorly maintained, rude staff who doesn’t respect tenants rights or the management’s responsibility to maintain habitability within their units. Service staff doesn’t know what they’re doing and will improperly try to fix things, damage your property in the process and refuse to take accountability for doing so.

Called them to view one of the apartments. Setup an appointment and when we arrived for the viewing they girl answering the phone for the office would just ask us a few questions then stop talking. Weird place for sure.

As a UCLA student, the location is great - close to campus as a grad student, away from undergrads, a 10 minute drive to the beach, and near plenty of bars. Quick Uber to Santa Monica and Westwood locations provides everything you need. The building is old, but I searched long and hard (60 hours searching) and could not find a better 1bed/1bath for the price. We were also searching for a dog, so anyone with pets will need to pay a bit more ($50/mo additional at this place)
