Every bldg has been earthquake Retrofit or has huge amounts of steel and concrete dedicated to the parking structures which diminishes the risk to life and property during a CA earthquake. Built when water was plentiful, recent droughts have given us the opportunity to replace much of the landscaping to drought resistant reducing water requirements dramatically. All buildings at GGE have solar panels installed utilizing renewable energy for our electricity; substantially reducing our carbon imprint into the atmosphere. For many years Beachbrook has won the Apartments beauty contest in Redondo Beach. A short walk to famous Hollywood Riviera with its hot spots, upscale cafes and rock and brew clubs. Pods of Whales and Dolphins are seen daily while Hawks, pelicans, sea gulls and Falcons ply the skies above. Beach hot spots are everywhere to be found with celebrities in evidence from their nearby designer condos and homes. CA lifestyle is alive well and thriving. We've dramatically diminished our water requirements with water miser devices for our toilets, faucets, showers and big time with drought resistant landscaping. Using nontoxic organic cleansers and no smoking in many buildings with limited or no BBQ's gate to gate add to our efforts in taking our residents health options into consideration.
