January 31, 2025The optics are nice, but the maintenance of apartments and property are lacking. The gym only has one working cardio machine. Has been like this since move in in September of 2023. Maintenance requests need to be put in multiple times and even then are only partially resolved. Some rules apply to list residents, they say this is because of new company taking over with new rules, but just look at the differences in how patios and porches are maintained and you will see the discrepancies.Property Manager Responded

January 31, 2025I will not be renewing my lease here. The amenities here are not worth the issues that one has when submitting maintenance requests. The communication from the office is always an email blast that comes 1-2 hours too late, or has nothing to do with you. For example, rather than communicate directly with folks that have been wrongfully parking on the property, they copied and pasted the Parking section of the leasing contract to remind us of the rules. That was the most recent one. There have been ...other emails reminding everyone, whether you have a pet or not, to clean up after your pet. And also, if you see anyone not cleaning up after their pet, they encourage you to tell on them to the office staff or better yet to ask them yourself to clean up their dog's waste.Property Manager Responded

January 31, 2025This was the worst apartment complex I ever lived in! I will never ever recommend to anyone to move in here. They do not enforce any rules. Complaints reported to the leasing office go nowhere. Everyone that works in the office is clueless. No one seems to care. The place is the worst and I am moving out soon. All the neighbors and people that live here are miserable and not friendly. Also, the security and towing company who are supposed to tow people out of assigned parking spots are ...completely useless. They neve come whe called. There are also transient savaging in the dumpsters in the apartment complex daily and nightly since it is not a gate community. The complex itself is run down and needs a lot of work. Likewise for the actual units. The maintenance staff takes at least two weeks to fix things. Good bye and good riddance to Bella Terra Apartments in Vista, CA.
