Renters Beware - Seriously Outdated
September 5, 2017I don't have any issues with management as they tend to respond in a timely and professional manner. However, these apartments have serious issues. They are incredibly outdated with appliances being 20 years old or seriously cheap. This also includes cheap and horrible cabinets, countertops, and carpet. It seems as though one can never really get a hold of the bug problem, unless of course you want the apartment sprayed with hazardous chemicals literally every month. And I'm a clean freak... The ...mold is a constant battle and that's related to poor ventilation and moisture with really old HVAC units. Who knows when they last cleaned the ducting as well so there goes allergies. The walls and ceilings are very thin so you hear everything, including every single footstep from your neighbors above. The only thing I like is the convenient location and relatively quite neighborhood. These are DEFINITELY not apartments I'd recommend to anyone. IProperty Manager Responded

Great if you don't have to deal with staff
March 15, 2017I have lived here for 2 years and was pleased with my experience until I realized that there are cockroaches in the apartments and maintenance staff are unqualified. We asked to have our garbage disposal fixed and staff didn't hook things up correctly resulting in our kitchen being flooded. Also, our rent increased $150/month after renewing. Life at Bishop's
August 26, 2015The apartment we have is a 2 bedroom and is just the right size. I love that the washer and dryer are in the apartment right off the kitchen. The kitchen is a nice size as well, unless you have the oven open. We had to get the refrigerator, that came with the apartment, replaced right after we moved in but the complex was helpful with that. Maintenance has always been helpful and quick when called, though some of the problems we moved in with (cut up linoleum and window seals) have not been fixed ...in the two years we have been here. There are not a lot of kids running around, though there is a playground for them. There are two pools on site, both are kept up well. Small dogs are allowed and for the most part people walking around have small-medium dogs. It is close to two shopping centers and a park as well and the neighborhood is relatively quiet. There are community events, a community center that is rent-able, a 24hr gym (though it is small), and a lot of other amenities that the complex offers.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Friendly Complex
August 14, 2015I have lived at Bishops Court for almost a year and I have really enjoyed my time here (my roommate and I just renewed our lease). Our unit is located next to a busy street so the street noise can be loud in the morning and evening, but the complex itself is quiet and consists of mainly small families and working individuals. The complex just recently became a smoke free complex (you can't smoked inside your unit) which is awesome because when we moved in the unit smelled like an ashtray and my ...roommate and I do not smoke. Every unit comes with a full sized washer and dryer as well as a dishwasher. I love this because you can do everything in your unit rather than going back and forth to the shared laundry room. Covered parking is assigned, but you only get one space per unit with the option to lease a garage for an extra fee each month. There are two pools located in the complex as well as a small gym. The maintenance staff is very friendly and responds to calls in a timely manner. There is not a large amount of storage aside from the kitchen cabinets, two cabinets above the washer and dryer, and a small coat closet. There is a storage closet located outside off the patio, but there are constantly black widow spiders outside so I do not use the outside storage. There is a pest control company that comes out every Monday, but you need to make appointments in advance.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Great Apartments!!
August 5, 2015This place is the first apartment i have ever lived in and i absolutely love it. It has everything that fits my needs. Full washer/dryer in every unit, 2 pools and 2 jacuzzis, and they even have a free tanning bed if your into that. They even do gift wrapping partys during the holidays! The gym could be a bit better but who doesnt have a gym membership nowadays anyway. My bf and i looked for an apartment for over a year before we moved in together and Bishop Apartments were the first ever that we ...looked at, ever since then we compared pretty much every apartment we looked at to this place. In the end we loved this place too much and decided to move in. We've been happy here ever since, definitely recommend this place!
