July 31, 2024This is a great place to live! So many amenities that fit the family and so much to do. Onsite laundry is always clean and 24/7. Awesome office staff! Tessa, Jay, and Eric are the best! Good so far
July 17, 2024Boardwalk so far has been good, definitely a lot better than the previous community I lived in. Tessa, Jay, Wade, Gary, and Eric have been great. The apartments are nice, I don't really hear any noise unless my upstairs neighbors have their TV turned up loud or they are running the main bathroom shower. They are pet friendly (but no dog park so I walk to another Collier owned apt complex). And of course you have the irresponsible dog owners which isn't the complex fault, they can't see ...everything all the time, so I make sure I have control of my dog. The only other issue is the parking situation which doesn't seem to get enforced if the vehicle has either been sitting there for a while, or there's expired tags, or simply doesn't have a community sticker on it. They don't get towed. Other than that, it's pretty quiet, it's well maintained and most people here have been friendly.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Perfect for us
June 15, 2024We've been living at Boardwalk for almost a year now and just renewed. The maintenance team is consistently friendly, fast, and helpful, addressing requests promptly. The location is convenient, with easy access to bus stops and close to UF without being on campus. The office staff is great. Tessa is both helpful and honest, making our leasing process fast and transparent. The community here is a nice mix of families and college students, creating a balanced and welcoming environment. Cockroach heaven
August 21, 2022I rented a 1/1 for a year, and I could not wait for my lease to end. Living here includes a constant bombardment of cockroaches, lazy and sloppy maintenance, and loud and raunchy neighbors. I did not feel safe leaving the apartment at night as there was almost always people yelling at each other in the parking lots or blaring their car music excessively. I called management multiple times, and they refused to do anything about these issues. I'm not sure how much money I spent on pest control; ...nothing I did stopped cockroaches coming out of every crack in the wall (of which, there were several). Whenever maintenance came to work on issues that were promised to be completed before moving in, they would always leave behind a mess, including leaving broken parts in my kitchen sink, spattering broken glass all over the carpet after replacing a window, to standing on my furniture and leaving dirty footprints. The only thing this place has going for it is a decent laundry facility. Living at the Boardwalk was an awful experience and I do not recommend renting here.Property Manager Responded

Not great
August 22, 2017I lived at Boardwalk for 2 years, and it has been nothing but trouble for me. Front office associates were always nice, but I was consistently trying to get maintenance to come and fix things. If they did, they did great. It was just a hassle getting them to actually show up. Some rude neighbors. I was over charged my second year living there for rent, AND 5 days before moving out they decided they were going to try and charge a late fee on rent that was turned in 2 weeks prior! I would not ...recommend living here unless you're desperate. Bugs everywhere, showers were always leaking, fans didn't work, no proper insulation, no proper parking. We have a new service manager that has recently come on board and believes highly in customer service and getting the work done in a timely manner. I apologize if in error you were charged late fees and I am sure when it was brought to someone?s attention it was adjusted. Pest control comes weekly for our residents and can actually come more often if requested. We also have a large parking lot behind the office for our resident?s convenience. Once again, thank you for being a valued resident for the past two years and I welcome you to stop by the office anytime with positive suggestions and ideas on how to improve our property.
