some disability issues were the stairs... 3 into the building and 7 once inside. Outside didn't seem like a huge hurdle, as the banister is very sturdy, and on both sides. We asked if a second rail might be put in at the indoor steps and before we knew it, there it was! Now, just 3 months after moving into a bright, clean place with new carpet and a new stove, our refridgerator went on the blink... the same day that management heard about it, a brand new one arrived and it is silently cooling our food at this very moment. If being just a short distance outside the city limits in a nieghborhood with public parks and pool, some shopping, and regular Centro service is what you are looking for, I highly recommend you inquire with the folks at Brook Manor. They clearly lay out your & their responsibilities in the lease, and they expect you to live up to your end of the bargin. If you can do that, you'll likely be a very happy member of this simple but sweet community.
