Bad experience
May 21, 2021Living here was great at the beginning but since COVID everything went downhill. The worst part was when we moved out they refused to check the apartment with us before we left and a week later we received the last bill with a lot of extra charges. There are many better places to live. Don’t believe in all the good reviews. They request a good review every time they show up to do their job.Property Manager Responded
May 26, 2021Hello, I am sorry to hear that your move out experience was not what you expected. I would like to personally address your concerns however there wasn't any contact information provided. When a resident is approaching their move out date they can schedule a final walk through once all of their belongings have been removed. These are scheduled Monday-Friday when our maintenance team is available. We will provide you with an anticipated estimate however until the invoices from the vendors have been received we would not have the final total. That being said, your final account statement would include your final water bill, cleaning fee--which is on the first page of your lease documents, and any additional charges which is explained in your notice to vacate document that is signed prior to moving out. It is our intentions to be as transparent as possible with all the information we have. If you would like to further discuss your particular experience please reach out to us at ...Lasolas@camdenliving.com. Sincerely, Camden Las Olas Team

Nightmare Move!!!
October 7, 2019As a prior resident, I enjoyed living at the Camden! However my first day back at this location was a complete nightmare. The leasing agent gave us incorrect information regarding which elevator to use in the greeting email which is pretty alarming, since you should be familiar with the building. Went to finish last minute paperwork and the office was anything but prepared, moving is already stressful enough and their lack of organization is frustrating. Not to mention the issues in the apartment ...from a mismatched appliances (the dryer doesn’t even have a handle/safety issue), the front door won’t shut completely, the stove has a huge scratch, dirty appliances and cabinets which are extremely loud when opening/closing. Paying for luxury living while receiving mediocre quality. Living in these conditions are completely unacceptable. This will be my last time living here.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Not a resident for a good reason!!
November 24, 2015A while back I had considered moving to the Camden simply because of its locale. But, I wanted to be sure of more than just a location. So, I visited a friend who lived at Camden and I'm so glad I did. Homeless people all around the outside, the garage smells horrible, sirens can be heard all the time, garbage are downstairs is disgusting, security is non-chalant, elevators or unclean and smell. Her apartment - although decorated nicely by her, wasn't all that great for the money. The ...refrigerator was small, microwave didn't work (even though she's called tons of times), the sliding glass door is off-track and grinds when you open it (another call she's made that's gone unanswered), you hear EVERYTHING - the walls are paper thin, if a dog in the next apartment craps - you can smell it, the hallway rugs are moldy-smelling...the list continues. To me, it's nothing but a high-priced college dorm in a good location. Location is all it has going for it. That's it. Management doesn't care and neither does maintenance. I don't know how they survive in their jobs. If you don't care about getting a good night's sleep then move in here and enjoy just the location. But for your hard earned money, there's other well managed properties that are just as conveniently located. For these reasons, I never moved in and my friend moved out after 6 months!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
LESS THAN ZERO STARS
September 6, 2015Walls are paper thin (hear a lot of internal noise at all hours) A/C barely works. Appliances barely work (maintenance has been called a LOT) Building construction is flimsy and sub-par (built for renters) Security is a joke. Management is a joke. Amenities are a joke. With the kind of competition in Ft Lauderdale for these kinds of high rents this place is not a real contender. The closer-to-Las Olas location masks all the flaws. Going for the location was my first mistake. No problem ...pestering me about paying the rent on time yet many problems addressing my issues with noise. HUGE "F" in customer service. Avoid this place, it's NOT worth the location.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
I will do my best - This review is worth reading point blank.
September 3, 2015With as much respect as possible, this is by far the worst place I've lived in my under 40 years..and I've lived a lot of places. I own a trained service animal of 8 years old and both live and work in my home. I will do my best to avoid ramblings and non relevant opinions. I will list all things related to the topic of Camden NOT being "the place to live and work" as it's logo suggests. My in writing expression of this is being sent to the proper persons. Every single solitary day of my ...rental history with Camden Las Olas has begun with any/all or a combination of the following. Incessant, unrelenting barking by unattended dogs on multiple apt levels, any entrance or exit maneuvers around alarming amounts and smell of pet waste and urine through garage and walking areas, cheese (yes, cheese and LOTS) multiple times smeared on walkways, abundance of homeless with bags of human waste, pill bottles, blankets etc sleeping in front of our keyed entry door or near, pairs of men and womens shoes collected, broken beer bottle glass scattered over walkways, beer cases, trash, clothes, paper thin walls on the East side where daily police and ambulances run without fail day and night and back to day, the mentally ill man who you can hear screaming all night every night, the staff who has no solutions and little patience, dirty elevators, cameras that do not record or work, pets without leashes. I find this identical to an overpriced Hotel of transient business folks and disrespectful young adults with seriously bad personal and animal behaviour/hygiene choices. I have found, my conference calls, recordings etc are all filled with background noise of animals, honking horns in the tunnel, blaring sirens and inconsiderate neighbors never before had. My last point will be on behalf of animal rights. Listening to 1,2,3 or more dogs crying, barking all day, while their owners are gone is what my pet hears too. This is more than distressing on me, but doubly so knowing that my well tempered pet must listen to this as if in a pound or a prison. The area is changing as well, and not for the better. Though conveniently located, I cannot get out of my lease fast enough, or can I.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Downtown Ft. Lauderdale Living
September 2, 2015The location is unbeatable. I am one block away from Las Olas Blvd with easy access to all the restaurants, shopping and nightlife it has to offer. The apartments are newly upgraded and my roommate and I love our split floorplan. There's a nice waterfall at the pool and a 2 story gym with a rock climbing wall. I absolutely love living there.Review from Apartments.com
Great Location!
July 25, 2015Moved hear nearly two years ago....perfect location for a transplant...close to the airport, close to the beach, and located downtown Ft. Lauderdale. The property is well kept and maintained. The staff is very friendly, and I have had no major issues or complaints. Pet friendly...but maybe too pet friendly. Elevators frequently smell like urine...and urine on the floors of hallways and elevators daily. Rent increases every year and you have change apartments to keep the rent inflation from ...impacting your wallet. Very thin walls...but mostly quiet building. Great place to live if you are new to the area, but there are newer apartments in the area that may give you more bang for your buck.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Downtown Living
July 23, 2015This the perfect location for downtown living. The complex is one of the older ones in the area but it is kept up constantly with modern updates. The only problem is the parking. People park everywhere, which is very frustrating. However, I do feel very safe & secure living in this building.Review from Apartments.com
"Find a new place to call home." Living excellence at Camden.
July 26, 2015Love this place. What it's like: Having a touch of a resort right in the middle of the city. I read my book or do work outside of my balcony while watching the sunset about every night. Inside these new sophisticated apartment buildings, superior features like oversized roman tubs, washer and dryer in units, ten foot ceilings and fully-equipped kitchens create the perfect living environment. What they're like: The community at Camden Las Olas offers some great amenities for its residents ...including a sparkling swimming pool, free wifi in the commons, gated community, and a fitness center with a rock climbing wall. The full time concierge and on site team is always quick to respond to any maintenance! You can pay your rent online! What's out there like: Camden Las Olas is in a convenient downtown location with the city's best shopping for beach clothes, any cuisine dining, and entertainment all within walking distance! Easy 10 minute drive to the airport and 5 minute drive to I-95!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Camden Las Olas
July 23, 2015Great Location and great amenities! I live on the pool deck and the area is full of happy people cooking out, laying out and hanging out in the pool. The maintenance staff are very responsive to anything we ever need and they always seem to go the extra mile to make sure we are satisfied with their service. We just park our car after work on Friday and use our bikes everywhere over the weekend because everything is so close. The staff are always pleasant and willing to cater to your needs to make ...sure the tenants are happy.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Outstanding!
July 22, 2015My apartment it's a place very comfortable, as soon as you enter, invites you to rest, drink a beer and walk to the balcony to enjoy the view. Fort Lauderdale it's amazing and the Candem complex wouldn't be in a better place... Near to everything, dinner, movies, rides and friends Cost-value it's great. An amazing quality of life Outstanding!Review from Apartments.com
