Horrible
May 16, 2024Water turn offs with NO notice, multiple times a month. Water temp fluctuates from freezing to scalding in the shower, no matter what you do. Look up boilers as opposed to central air. They won't disclose it to you, but they use a boiler system where you have little control over the temp in your unit, and absolutely NO control over whether AC or heat is on. Fall and spring are terrible. I moved into a unit in 2023 with a smoke detector that expired in 2012. It took multiple times of begging my ...landlord to do something about this. When I finally went to their office in person to ask them to replace it, they threatened to call the police because I raised my voice out of frustration. Elevator is out of order all the time, people get stuck in it, it takes you to the wrong floor, etc. This place is cheaper and close to downtown but that does NOT make up for living in a stressful environment and never feeling at peace in your own home.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Stress free living.
June 11, 2018So first off these are outdated apartments but they are in the perfect location from downtown, UNL, and the mall. Neighborhood is pretty shady but the building is secure. Manager and support are a star service. Tenants are great. I would recommend highly. Don't expect luxury but do expect stress free environment.Review from Apartments.com
Average looking, but great place
July 21, 2015I've lived here for two years and it's my very first apartment. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but the top 3 floors all have balconies that span the width of the apartment. Great space for grilling, lounging, and just hanging out on a nice night. The space inside is a little dated, but everything is functional and I haven't had an issue with anything (except the vending machine in the laundry room...). The building is quiet and everyone is pretty friendly. The manager is great and ...there's an on-site maintenance man who can help with everything from a stuck screen door to minor car problems. One of the best things about the place is the location. It's close to downtown, but far enough away that you don't have to fight with the traffic or noise. It also sits right off of 27th and O which are two major streets in Lincoln. All you have to do is take a 10 min drive and you'll find several grocery stores, a couple of malls, and pretty much anything you need. It's also not too far from the University's City and East campuses so it's a great location for students.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
