Home-style apartments
January 31, 2019We have lived at Broadway Heights for a little over 6 months. They are by far the nicest, cleanest apartments in the eastern Des Moines area. Very close to shopping, good food and many activities. Also the price is VERY reasonable. The management team is very quick with resolving any type of issue/maintenance needs and they do offer many family oriented activities is the big courtyard area. January 3, 2019We live in a 1 bed, 1 bath apartment. Some of my favorites about the apartment: the balcony when it is nice outside, open design of the kitchen for cooking & having people over, spacious bedroom, incredibly easy parking, washer/dryer in unit, free printing, and 24/7 fitness room. We don't have pets, but the place seems pet friendly as there is a small play area for animals and many neighbors have dogs. Broadway Heights stands alone at the end of the road making it feel peacefully out of the way, ...but everything you need (grocery, gas, restaurants, shopping) is just a few minutes away. Management is easy to contact and very responsive. A few of my not so favorites: the design of the apartment makes the living room area very small, our bathroom is located inside our bedroom (great for us, but not so great when having company), the fitness room could use some additions, and there isn't any wifi in the community space. Overall, a great place to live - I would truly rate it a 4.5/5 stars if I could!! (:Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

January 3, 2019We live in a 1 bed, 1 bath apartment and so far we have loved it. The balcony is wonderful to have when it is nice outside and the open design of the kitchen has been great for when we have people over or just for cooking in general. We don't have pets, but it certainly seems pet friendly as there is a small play area for animals and many of our neighbors have dogs. We have enjoyed the modern look and feel of the place, and parking is incredibly easy. It is out of the way and sometimes feels that ...you live in your own separate town, but is very accessible to grocery stores and restaurants which are just minutes away. As a student, having free printing has been a useful amenity. We haven't used the theater room yet, but plan to in the future. The only complaints we have are that the fitness room is very small and could use some upgrades/new equipment.
