I really like it here

New Management not fixing heat for elderly
May 19, 2020May and my elderly mother has been without AC for two weeks. Week one she wasn’t addressed at all. Week two a part has been ordered.Property Manager Responded

Great place to live
October 8, 2019I have been a resident here for over 3 years and have seen multiple office and maintenance representatives come and go the most recent Ms. Ashley the Prop Mgr has been the nicest most personable yet. I always see her and the maintenance guys outside walking the property picking up trash and ECT. . .I love the fact that the property is improving for the best and enjoy seeing the new changes that are occuring. Place is a joke
August 13, 2019I moved here in Apr. I haven't been able to login to see my account bill. I spoke to several employees about this issue. "Several" mind you because they can't find a employee who want to stay. This most recent time Ashley property manager tells me "um, you going your going to have to call rentcafe yourself. They going to ask you questions." So I call they just ask what's they apartments name, what the apt number, and my name. So I had to do someone else's job. to find out it is still on Carmel ...Canyon to fix the issue. i ask to speak to the regional manager to make a complaint. No help there, so I asked to spoke to her boss. She told me "there's only one person. He is on vaca for a month and he doesn't call people back". Carmel Canyon promotes a walkway that is congested to their property. I informed them about the number of snakes other resident's and I've seen on the path. As well as in the gated area of the property. Again Ashley says to me "oh we are only responsible for what is in the gate. Your going to have to call the city yourself uh-huh." Yet again I have to do someone else's job. Just this morning I saw another snake. The management company that is in charge of this property. I have first hand knowledge, they don't call you back. Even with the new employee property manager Ashley. She was supposed to call me back on these issues as well as others. "uh-huh(while nodding her head) I will call you back, uh-huh I will call you tomorrow." Not once did I get a call. Went to the office and told her never got a call back. "Oh yeah" was my response! They are under and overcharge residents, can't hold employment, rude, don't care about their residents, real behind on the paperwork and numbers. DO Not COME HERE turn around!!!Property Manager Responded
August 15, 2019First and foremost I would like to extend our gratitude for choosing Carmel Canyon. We are sorry to hear about your experience however regarding your issues with Rent Café it was expressed to our staff, that we have limited capabilities addressing said portal issues. Please bear in mind that we do our best to resolve all resident concerns, but we do not have direct oversight on all contracted services. As for the trail we love to hear that our residents make use of our lovely amenities, especially those we strive to keep well maintained. The trail has been landscaped and cleared up to the property line which limits our ability to access. Carmel Canyon cannot however prevent the occasional chance encounter with the wild life in the area. The forested area adjacent to the trail is what makes it one of our most attractive features. Carmel Canyon once again would like to thank for your residency, if you would like to address your concerns any further we welcome you to stop by during ...our regular business hours.

August 3, 2018I would recommend but I think they need more maintenance people or a groundskeeper to clean up trash. Stairwells have stained and litter on them. Wishing the residents would also be more considerate with their garbage and litter habits.Property Manager Responded
