Beware of bugs

This place is a roof over your head and nothing more. The bug situation is appalling. The bedbugs I had should have been splitting rent with me as well as the roaches. When I contacted the manager about extermination her first reaction was “well who did you bring in?” Only to find out 2 months later I shared a wall with someone who had them and never reported them. I had to leave early. This place is a last resort. I give it 2 stars because the maintenance guys are super nice, respectful and work ...
their asses off to make this place a little less of a hell hole. If you absolutely have to move here, keep everything in the fridge, empty your trash into the outside dumpster every night, PLEASE make sure you and your children wear shoes everywhere else in the complex (mainly concerned about things I saw in the stairwell here) and keep to yourself. Wash clothes in hot water and dry on hottest and longest setting. Don’t buy anything new cuz chances are you’ll have to throw it out when you move out anyway.

I have to tell you im so excited to be living in carteret arms apartment one because this is my first place on my own two the syaff there has been nothing but pleasent I can actually say even though I haven't moved in yet I feel so at home I cant wait for august 15th the fist day of my new start in my own apartment thank you the owners and the staff for a new start
