February 28, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comI was told that I would need to sign a new pet addendum, however it took about 30 days for it to be sent to me. No updates. Nothing. Because of the mistakes in the past I need to find my original to compare it to see if there are any mistakes or changes. Also, I don't understand why management sent out an email telling the tenants to keep checking to see if the water comes on. Why should the tenants have to keep checking it over a period of hours? Why can't management simply send out a one line ...emai? ...The water is back on... I am not sure if the lacking communication issues are due to management wanting a feeling of power, or if management still just does not get it. I am not trying to be mean. But this is where I live. Consistantly poor communications affects hos I go about my day...my week. It is not as if I am have to deal with a clerk that has sold me a pair of shoes. I just do not understand why timely and considerate communications are so difficult. I do not enjoy filling out bad surveys. I do not enjoy having to write emails to management. I do not enjoy complaining. I really do not think that I am asking for much.Read More

On sight management greets you with a friendly hello and a how ya doing! Also, gets back with emails when there is an issue and a quick follow up when it is done. Very professional. Management is superb, apartments are spotless and spacious, rent is very reasonable for San Diego County considering numerous amenities, landscaping is quite nice and the heated pool is a plus. I feel very lucky to have found this place!

The manager is terrific (and I mean TERRIFIC -- she actually cooked a holiday dinner feast for everyone in December!), the grounds are nicely kept, the pool is heated, and the apartment is roomy. It's a smaller complex (40 units), which I like and it's close to shopping, theaters, medical services, and within a short drive to many of San Diego's finest beaches ...and activities, including great restaurants. 5 stars!Read More

I'm glad I waited, I was able to move into a brand new remodeled apartment and the first to use everything. My new neighbors are very welcoming and I look forward to many years at Casa de La Mesa.
