Bad management
December 15, 2019Very bad experience even before renting. The leasing agents are super aggressive and threatening. We had a tour appointment at 11 am. We received a call 10 mins before by the leasing agent (Melina) telling us if we don't come there "exactly" at 11, they will not tour us. We requested if we could be 5 mins late and the agent said then they won't show us. So we rushed to reach there "exactly" time. When we reached the leasing agent (a guy) was occupied and didn't serve us for 10 mins. When we said ...sorry but you had asked us not to be late, one of the agents told to the other "these guys are being pushy, can you please take them" Even after being called 'pushy' we were ready to tour. Then in a very non interested way the agent (this time Melina) starts serving us. We clarified that it's 11.15 now and we were told to be here exactly at 11. Melina then says it's not our fault that the agent was busy when you came because he was supposed to show you. Rather than apologizing, she said it's your duty to be here on the time. We were obviously not happy, having made to rush to reach on time and now being told it's ok you had to wait. Then the other leasing agent also came out. He started saying we are not going to show you now. They both started threatening us, told us to get out and even threatened to call the police on us. It was very insulting and rude. By the way, when we reached there, one of the residents was there complaining how 2 of his packages recently had been lost (one from package locker and one from his house) and some issues with maintenance staff too. The leasing agent was super rude in dealing with him too - telling him that it's not their problem he lost the package, they have never had such complaints before so it's only him and that he can't do anything about it. It was quite shocking to see how they were dealing with a current resident too. We have seen atleast 20 units during our search till now and I must say, this is the WORST experience ever!!! These guys had no sense of customer service and relationships and felt like they were doing us a favor by showing us a unit.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Very Unprofessional
February 13, 2018Moved here for the dog facilities. Lots of green open space. The staff is a nightmare to deal with. High amount of theft. They tell straight to your face its not their problem. There a lot of places available in Mountain View, avoid this place. It has high turnover for a reason. Pros: -Dog Friendly -Green open space -Central location Cons: -Very unsafe, things are getting constantly stolen. -Rude, aggressive and threatening staff. -High turnover among residents. -Thin cheap windows. I can ...literally hear the microwave buttons from the building next to mine.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Avoid - Will make you sad to live there
May 15, 2017Central Park Whisman is not a good choice. Poor value overall. Safety and cleanliness issues. Staff has little to no concern for tenants. For same price, there are newer buildings available and ones in better locations - this place is on central expressway but not near anything else.Review from Apartments.com
Quiet, low key location
August 14, 2015This is a nice, quiet, low key apartment complex in Mountain View. I love the location as it's close to downtown Castro (restaurants, bars access), Caltrain station and VTA light rail station - walking distance about 15 minutes - yet still in a quieter neighborhood and there's a lot of trees around. It has swimming pool and small gym for residents, and most rooms have been upgraded to have washer/dryer inside. Very well maintained complex so far. There has been management change recently so ...hopefully new management will continue the great upkeep of the complex.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Overpriced - Mountain View
August 13, 2015The Location is great - about 45 minutes from San Francisco and 15 minutes from San Jose. In the heart of Silicon Valley and near Castro and many restaurants. Decent storage space and each unit is equipped with washer and dryer The complex is nice but has decreased in service and with the Lightrail project - there's constant contruction noise - this even takes place late at night into the early morning hours. In addition, you have younger folks who possibly work later on in the day and ...therefore are up at night making lots of noise. Two pool locations and one is typically always crowded and the other isn't as nice.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
