Our community has also undergone a significant transformation over the last few years, from a facelift on our landscaping to gated entry and security door at the front, a complete re-imagining of our inner landscaping including installation of patios for ground-floor homes, all the way through to the parking lot and covered carports in the rear. Great Place to live

I’ve been living at chateau Andre for 5 months now and it has been a great place for me and my wife to call home. It’s a fair price for cost of living around this area. The neighbors are friendly and the community is nice and quite. The maintenance crew is very quick to respond when we had issues. It’s great for young families as well, cause the elementary school is right down the street and the library is a few blocks down. It’s a lot better than the apartments we came from in Hayward.

Safe, convenient and quiet

I have lived here since May of 2016. It is such a steal. BART station is a safe and reasonable walk for my daily commute (less than 15 minutes). Rarely a wait for the laundry - even on weekends. Large bedrooms, ample storage space. In our 2 bedroom apt. the bedroom closets are 1 whole wall, plus a large hall closet, linen closet by the bathroom and tons of storage in the kitchen. There is only 1 parking spot per unit but a large off street lot in the back. Neighbors are polite and quiet. Manager ...
is intent on keeping the community happy and engaged - hosting seasonal get togethers so we can meet each other.

Nice and quiet

Nice and quiet complex tucked away off of busy CV Blvd. it's in a very convenient location, just minutes from 580, and close to shopping and quaint downtown. During street festivals , you can just walk over there without having to drive. 5 minutes from BART station which is great.

Everything we could ask for!

We had a list of things we wanted our next apartment to be. Spacious, affordable, close to BART and walking distance for all your needs, and Chateau Andre was just that! Tucked in a little quiet corner and a nice neighborhood, it was simply everything we've wanted. Not to mention the ever-so-helpful Jessica who is the Property Manager along with the rest of management that respond to all your needs and queries instantly! We are definitely happy renters.

Recently moved in to chateau andre

We moved into Chateau Andre in September, having lived in Thailand for last 7 years. We did not know what to expect in suburban living in Castro Valley. I am very happy that we found this building. It is a great location, very quiet, family friendly and a caring manager. The apartment itself was immaculate and the neighbors are friendly. Not a huge complex, everyone says hello and our child and grandchildren are always welcomed and safe around the facility. We love it.

Hidden gem
November 9, 2016
This is the perfect hidden secret in Castro Valley. It is a small complex that is quiet and clean, which can be hard to find in the bay area. The units are clean and most have been updated. The property manager Jessica is a delight and is always happy to help with anything she can. Such a great place to call home.
