MOVED OUT AND CHARGED FOR NEW CARPET BECAUSE OF A DOG I DID NOT HAVE. PLEASE CHECK UNDER YOUR CARPET FOR STAINS BEFORE YOU MOVE IN. SCAM WRITTEN ALL OVER IT.

I lived at Christy Estates for two years. I lived in a one bedroom the first time and I was constantly needing pest control to go over because I would wake up and my restroom was full of roaches. Big, flying, ones! I found 12 of them in my bathtub once. I wish I was joking. I am a clean & neat person! It was unacceptable. The staff is horrible. They always gave me excuses for their nasty infestation complex. I then moved to a two bedroom apartment because my sister was moving in with me. The ...
manager told me she will have my apt ready by a certain date. I called days before to make sure everything was still okay to move in. She said yes. and the day of move in, the maintenance people where there saying they were not ready. I had already paid the movers to come and load up their truck with my stuff. The mng said it was a mistake! and I moved into a broken down old apt that I hadn't even seen until the day I actually moved in. The A/C never worked there. It leaked all the time staining the floor and the ceiling. My light bulb in my closet started leaking water. When I moved out I received a letter in the mail that I owed them $140 because the floors where stained!! I called to tell them it was the leaky A/C they never fixed, but they did not care!! They took my deposit, plus charged me extra. Please, listen to me and stay clear of this ugly place. I have so many other complaints I could go on forever.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! I lived here for two years and the first 6 months were great. But then management changed (several times) and nothing would get done. A/C went out several times and no one would fix it for days, one summer it was weeks. The security is a joke my car was broken into three times, I was followed to my stairs and I witnessed a robbery but the complex did nothing. They would not tell you if someone was in your apartment or when they would turn off the water. Horrible gnat ...
infestation that they refused to spray for, and constantly said was my own fault when I had never experienced gnats until they shut off our water without our notice and the people around us were also suffering. The complex even admitted to my husband that they refused to spray for the bugs because we were "filthy people" this was after THEY allowed the gnats to come up through the sewer system when they shut off the water without our knowledge. Any work order you put in was ignored or half done. When we went to find out what we needed to do to leave for our 30 day notice they told us nothing just sign the paperwork. Come moving day they slammed us with things we should have already done and expenses we had no idea about, then charged us for a dog we DID NOT have as well as charge us for things that were already charged for. All of my neighbors were just as unhappy as myself and are currently trying to get out as well.
