          These apartments are exceptionally small and outdated for the amount of money that is being requested. The pool is rarely clean…normally dingy brownish green water. Large amounts of poop is all over grounds. An abundance of large flies because of the dog poop. The 3 bedroom apartments are very tiny. The main bedroom is barely big enough for an adult. The closet is smaller than a coat closet. The other two remaining closets are walk in closets and a decent size bathroom. The main bathroom has an ...
          extremely small bathroom. There is a pungent odor that lingers and probably because residents are forced to have trash cans outside their door. There’s barely any grass is many areas due to management not taking care of the landscaping by planting more grass. There is not adequate parking and the punish the residents by enforcing $200 tickets/boots on your cars. It’s difficult to have guests because of the inadequate parking. The owners choose to build almost 100 new units yet didn’t care to amend their parking. There are soooooo many nicer apartments with far more amenities and better management that actually care about their residents. The best part is the location. You are in close proximity to everything and it’s somewhat safe. Seriously, these are over priced for what is being offered. I moved to a far better location!!!!!! If you’re a medical personnel, they are okay for location but honestly, LOOK around for better. These are small, outdated, over priced, no closet space, dog poop throughout the grounds and sometimes on the sidewalk. They don’t spray in your unit and due to the trash being outside your door, you may experience rodents…such as possums and raccoons.

          The office staff is outstanding. The maintenance staff is outstanding. They really care about your well-being and theyre very understanding. If youre looking for a great apartment complex a highly recommend Citiscape at Essen great community very quiet. Ive been staying here for a year so far and I dont plan on going any where. I absolutely love this place.

          While I love the location, amenities, and safety provided by Citiscape, the price it is not worth it for the condition of the apartment. My apartment has smelled of rotting laundry since day one. There has been no resolution after several service tickets. Repairs done after the previous lessee are also obvious and wanting. Plastered holes that havent been painted over, and half measures to repair drawer faces with mis-sized screws. Parking is also often unavailable near my apartment building.

          From the moment I first toured, I felt welcome and considered. I've truly enjoyed living here. The staff is helpful, kind, and responsive. I love the different events hosted here, like the block party and the sidewalk chalk event. I feel that, as a resident, I am very much kept in the loop regarding anything going on at the complex. I've always felt respected and valued while living here.

          We struggled with A/C problems in our last 2 apartments over 2 years at citiscape and even had the pipes busted in our ceiling in the last apartment that had our entire ceiling soaking wet;fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. However, maintenance was extremely prompt on our last service request and fixed the problem in one visit.

          Office staff are nice enough, but the construction starting at 7am and the maintenence requests not being completed in a timely manner cause me to hesitate to recommend this apartment complex.
