I wouldn’t recommend living in the apartment buildings. Almost everything is very outdated and needs fixing. Often seems like one problem after the other or you just have to live with the inconveniences. The windows need replaced as they aren’t sealed properly anymore often freezing over it’s cold or even leaking with big rainstorms. apartment buildings which in my mind is a security risk. Barely any light in the rooms as they don’t have ceiling lights and you have to get standing lights which takes up space. The rent goes up every year by a lot even though the value of the apartments hasn’t changed and has gotten worse. Maintenance fails to warn you before coming over. Best they will do is a knock and then come in using their key. They don’t call to see if you’re home or ready just there and open the door. You have to pay with a check they don’t have online system which is outdated but more reasonable than my other complaints.
