Don't Waste Your Money, It's a run down shack.
June 3, 2024There is property all around this area that is cheaper and newer. Maintenance is poor, alot of jets flying over, very loud. This place is not clean with skunky smell on my deck? Caution: don't do it, 2024.Property Manager Responded

Don't waste your money
July 25, 2023This apartment would have been great if not for management and bad neighbors. My most egregious complaint is the guarantees over and over again that smoking was not allowed inside, until someone moved in below us that smoked all hours of the day indoors. The smoke ruined several of our belongings by turning fabric yellow, and the constant stench made us feel sick repeatedly. Management's response? "You live in a smoking building." No other context was provided, and we were repeatedly ignored. ...The lease explicitly stated smoking or any other action which may annoy your neighbors is prohibited. But management did not care. We also received numerous noise complaints at odd hours of the night - when we were sleeping in bed, making absolutely no noise at all - which somehow warranted the maintenance man knocking loudly at the door and startling my wife. He would show up so randomly and without any warning that she no longer felt safe at the apartment when I was gone. Basically, if you have any problem at all management will ignore you. The "on call" maintenance man will show up randomly and without warning to harass you. And despite the no smoking signs and rules in the lease, smoking is very much allowed. Can't wait for the copy/paste reply to my review as we tried to talk to them multiple times as tenants to no avail. DO NOT LIVE HEREProperty Manager Responded

Great value
February 9, 2021Quiet, clean, and great maintenance staff. Haven't had any issues with hot water, electric or A/C. Parking has never been a problem. Plenty of storage. Super accommodating for dogs, there are poop bag stations all over the place. Floorplans are all functional space, no weird hallways or stupid cutouts. I ended up liking the washer and dryer in the kitchen a lot more than I thought I would. Virtually no crime. Tons of grassy areas. Didn't really use the amenities but they always looked well taken ...care of.Property Manager Responded

Great 6 years at CP!
December 18, 2018I was a resident with Colonial Pointe Apartments for 6 years. I can not express how amazing the office employees are! The property is clean and the other residents were friendly. I like that the property is kind of remote from everything else but also not very far from shopping and dining. Thanks for 6 great years!Review from Apartments.com
Changes make living difficult
September 11, 2017We chose Colonial Pointe after significant research and viewing. The initial four months were relatively problem free. The few problems that did crop up were handled by staff in a professional manner. The staff was friendly and cheerful. However, just after the first of the year the management announced several changes that directly affected reasons that we chose Colonial Pointe. Without any previous discussion the property moved from service dogs only to pet friendly. Nothing has been done ...about constant barking in the building and the buildup of organic material outside the building. The placement of a dog just above us in our section creates noise when the dog chases a ball down the hallway and jumps from furniture to play. The sound of dogs being walked or let out creates a constant barking if we are on our patio and a dog three doors down is let out on chain. The decision making process by management changed after a turnover in staff. The assurances made by local management are now controlled by new staff. Assurances are not contracts. August 3, 2015Love living here. the office staff is amazing. the few times I needed maintenance they were there the same day. area is off the beaten path, nice and quiet, close to the base. apt set up is nice. living room is far from the bedroom. neighbors are all nice. pool area is clean. would highly recommend.Review from Apartments.com
