April 18, 2025This complex is located in a mostly good area. The street isn’t as quiet as was advertised. I’ve lived here almost a year and have no plans to renew my lease. Although the units are “updated,” the building is older so it only goes so far. The update jobs were done poorly and the finishing inside the units is poor at best. Management does their best, but the complex leaves much to be desired. There is the occasional issue with bugs (poorly sealed windows) and rodents. Another long time resident!
September 7, 2016I lived at The Courtyard on Kirkwood for 4 years, while I love the area, and the property is so quaint, all 500 sq. feet of it. What residents don't want to talk about is the rodent issue, RATS! I killed (2) of them during my (4) year stay there. The last one having a tail of 12 inches long. They come in from under the crawlspace and between the cabinets. I sealed all the closures and complained to the new owners, who in turn put bait stations on the outside of every unit. Long Time Resident
August 27, 2015I have lived at Courtyard at Kirkwood for 6 years and it's a great small privately owned complex. All the units are 1 bedroom with hardwood floors, granite countertops in the kitchen, and modern appliances. Its really cute and quaint. The Kirkwood neighborhood is amazing and the rent is a great value for the area. The building is older, so there are a few drafts, and with there being so many trees around a few insects pop up once in a while, but no big deal.Review from Apartments.com
