Decent place, rude manager
March 9, 2021My place was disgusting upon move-in. There was tons of dirt and mold on the blinds, which took forever to clean on my own. I had a beetle infestation when I first moved in but it was taken care of quickly. At another point, there were used syringes and dirty clothes scattered around my car. I filed a maintenance request, they came out, and left the syringes. I called the office and received a call back DAYS later telling me they couldn't do anything to help me. Finally, I filed another request ...and it was cleaned up. They frequently do landscaping and property cleaning. During the snow, they came through and plowed all the snow and shoved it directly behind my car. I had to maneuver my way out and park on the street for days. The unit itself is just okay. The flooring is damaged, the blinds are cheap, and there's issues with nearly every area. of the unit My biggest issue with parking. Parking here is assigned and there is no guest parking. There is plenty of street parking. Guests have taken this to mean that the handicap spots may be used without a placard. I have reached out to the office several times to have them address this problem. I have instead been met with resistance and unprofessionalism. I have been questioned about why I'm so upset by the issue. I have been told there are bigger issues in Bellingham. The law is no one can park in those spots without a placard. I'm asking my property manager to uphold the law and the lease all tenants signed. I'm appalled that I have to explain myself to someone who isn't upholding the lease terms.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
