Poor Management
November 14, 2019The apartment itself is pretty nice, however, management is pretty unresponsive and there have been some notable issues in the 1.5 months I have lived here. The thermostat was broken, so as soon as the heat was turned on it just kept getting warmer and warmer, without any feedback to tell the boiler to shut off. It was disgustingly hot and dry. Additionally, because the radiators were constantly getting warmer, the pipes were continuously making a terrible clanging noise for days on end. The ...problem of the heat itself could likely have been solved by just cracking a window. However, there were no screens in the windows upon move in, and many windows were not properly installed, lacking the mechanism to keep them open. Meaning, the windows slammed shut, and the ones that did happen to stay open on their own had to screens to keep bugs/birds, etc. out, and to keep pets in. We were told upon move in that screens would be put in 10/15. It is now 11/14 and there are no screens.
