Very Bad
May 22, 2024I do not recommend this apartment to anyone. Because management is 0 out of 10. Cleanliness as well. It may be a little expensive, but it should be another apartment.Property Manager Responded

Extremely poorly maintained buildings; rude staff
August 28, 2023Visited here for an apartment tour. Leasing staff were misleading and the man in particular was extremely rude and dismissive. They quoted a rent nearly $200 higher than their original quote, and simply shrugged and said “Good luck” finding apartments when I asked about the difference. The apartment complex itself was very poorly maintained, smelly, dirty, run down. Other resident reviews seem similar. Would not recommend at all.Property Manager Responded

dont bother!
July 28, 2023oh Eagle Rock what a nightmare. I lived here 2 years now- first 6 months was great, then they removed the trash rooms that I was told would be on my floor in my lease. Next my car was towed from a spot with white lines during a snow storm that for the past year I have seen someone parked in everyday with not a tow truck in sight- I work til midnight and constantly need to park in the guest lot due to them not inforcing parking (so what am I even paying 15$ a month for?!) Laundry machines never ...work and when they do my clothes get ruined- the card machines been cash only for 6 months and no one seems to care to fix it, the dryers cost me 12$ sometimes just to dry a small load. Now the real kicker- I found out people with renovated apartments have been paying less or the same as me for months now! when i tried transferring to a new renovated one I was given the run around the office had no answers/ wrong answers/ days to respond. Now i found somewhere new to live and am told im going to be charged for 60 days due to lack of notice- I never said id renew and made it very clear i did not want to stay in my current apartment …and you need 60 days to renew soooo regardless theyd charge me 2 months extra for nothing. I do not see the logic at all. Neighbors complain of mice and roaches. I have found dead roaches in my laundry from other units- gross. Was going to stay out of convenience as i work close and would only be moving stuff to another unit and new company maybeeee they would fix some stuff? but thank god I dodged that bullet. I told other residents I am friends with and they said if my issue is not resolved soon they will also not be renewing.They need to do some work and show to some compassion for their residents and show they care about keeping them. Also cops constantly around fire alarms get set off at all hours every week so if you have a child or pets be weary.Property Manager Responded

Dissappointment
September 24, 2015I saw several apartments in this apartment community before I moved here and was very happy with them overall. The unit I'm in now I did not view because it was still inhabited at the time. I was looking forward to moving here because it seemed nice and the community had very good reviews online. But when I moved in it turned out that one of the apartment walls is on the other side of the trash room on my floor and I can hear people dump their trash at all times of the day and I often wake up ...to it. The wall to the trash room is paper thin. And the ceilings are unfortunately paper thin too. My upstairs neighbor had male company the other day and I could hear everything all night long. I also hear the TV upstairs and it's the high frequencies I hear - not just the base - which means that the insulation is really bad. The hallway has an unpleasant smell to it and the buildings are old even though the premises are well maintained. I have a nice view facing the west and I'm close to all these shops on route 9. Management is very nice and they try to work it out with you but all this doesn't make up for everything else that is amiss here, unfortunately.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
A little overpriced for what you're getting
August 23, 2015Maintenance is on point, location is very convenient and rooms are spacious and layouts are great. There's a free gym in the basement, shared laundry in the basement and plenty of parking. Unfortunately the building is pretty outdated with old carpet in the hallways that sometimes smells on hot days, the elevators break often, the laundry machines break and for what you're getting you're paying a lot. You have pay a monthly rate for pets and can only have one guest at the pool at a time. This ...place would be much more fair if the rent was about 300 cheaper a month. July 22, 2015I have lived at the Bayberry Hill Estates since 2008 and this longevity is a testament to my level of satisfaction. It is right off a section of Route 9 which is easy for access and egress (unlike other complexes on Route 9).The office and maintenance staff are great and very responsive.
