April 21, 2024After deciding to sell nearby Tosa home of 50 years, toured the complex, found the perfect apartment, signed lease 2 months before selling up. Beautiful wooded grounds, National Historic Designation,Monarch Butterfly Trail, nearby County Park + easy access to Froedtert and MCW,, Tosa Village, Mayfair, freeway and more.Have admired this development since it was completed, and now am fortunate to live here. Everyone in on-site administration has been helpful, friendly, and quick to respond to ...questions and requests. Want to especially thank Lexie Y, Tawny S, Stacy B, Jill K, Dylan B, Joe B, and James L.for making my transition to apartment living seamless. My cat loves the floor to ceiling windows and well-behaved dogs are a fun addition to the community. This might read like a promo for Mandel. It's not. The only thing luxury about these apartments is the price…
February 16, 2024We’ve had several issues with our unit, the amenities, admin management, and the maintenance team. It seems there is always something going wrong. Robbery last month? Follow it up with maintenance leaving your apartment keys in the door all day! Flooding due to improper repair of a prior leak? Let’s not only turn on the electrical box (that water is STILL flowing out of!), but let’s forget to reinstall the fire alarms in the unit, while ensuring the residents it’s safe to come back in! I could ...go on about the mold growing from poorly sealed windows, the overflowing trash, the crumbling brick chimney in the dog park, the hornet nests everywhere during the summer (and we have gone on and on to the maintenance and admin team about these issues) but really it’s not making a difference or improving the problems for current residents. So I just want to give a heads up to anyone considering Echelon Apartments; pick somewhere else. Not worth the headache.Property Manager Responded

We pride ourselves in providing the best customer service and it sounds like we have fallen short. As you may know, we are located on a butterfly nature preserve which makes our community unique, and can only use certain chemicals to get rid of pests. Maintenance and our pest control company are vigilant in taking care of any bee hives that pop up in the spring/summer months. Being that our dog park is part of Echelon's original historic architecture, we are looking into ways we can preserve the brick on the chimney. As far as your windows, we would be happy to send someone to take a look, please reach out to us at your earliest convenience. December 3, 2022Alot of empty apartments due to a decline in care in the last year mixed with price increases to all renewals. Great location, apartments are nice. Grounds and building maintenance has declined over the past year. At this price point it should be better.Property Manager Responded

The best!
March 29, 2022I'd honestly give it 6 out of 5 starts if I could as this has by far been the best apartment experience I've ever had. From the research prior to making the decision to move in, Echelon clearly stood out as having many unique differentiators (listed below) making it the leading option at its price point & location. Having lived there for over a year, I can truly say that I'm beyond satisfied with my decision to move here. The property itself is amazing, but the staff (management & maintenance ...teams) make it all that much better. They take pride in their work and are present and engaged for their tenants which is something you just don't see every day. Also, the tenants have all been very nice and engaging as well. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone for the reasons listed above and below. Thank you Echelon team for all that you do daily to deliver such a great experience! What stood out to me... - Newer modern property design with brick aesthetic - Rooms have 9+ft ceilings with many windows for natural lighting, stainless steal appliances, granite counter tops, and open concept - Main building has workout facilities, yoga room, and entertainment area with big screen TV, pool table, shuffle board, and full kitchen and living area which are all accessible 24/7. Great for hosting events. - Heated pool with grill and big screen tv for grilling and chilling in style - Natural brick enclosed dog park area open 24/7 to let your dog run around and get their energy out at any time + a complimentary dog washing station - Lots of green space around the property and in the county grounds with easy access to trails - Many first story walkout apartments available - Great central location, 5 min from downtown Tosa and 2 min to the freeway - Property is very well landscaped with lawn mowed weekly in summer and snow removal - Underground parking and street parking available - Same day, next day, and immediate maintenance service for emergencies + onsite property management for any questions or leasing supportProperty Manager Responded

Exactly What I Needed.
April 27, 2021I moved to the Echelon Apartments following the end of a very long-term relationship, and it had been years since I have lived in a communal living situation. The Echelon has provided me the relaxing, mature, and quiet environment for me to be able to continue my work from home. The gorgeously historic grounds and surrounding nature paths have provided me the healing my spirit so desperately needed. The staff have been warm and welcoming, and the other tenants are friendly and respectful of each ...other's space (almost everyone wears masks when in communal spaces in the apartment hallways/mail areas). The maintenance crew - Rich, in particular - are the finest I've encountered. Rich is quick, responsive, and I truly think there is nothing that gent does not know how to fix - he is worth his weight in gold to this community! All in all, I came to this community as a short-term respite, and have found a safe home I can call my own.Property Manager Responded

Best apartments
April 17, 2021Amazing place! Actually, to say that it s amazing would be just an underestimation of how comfortable, neat, modernized and classy this place is. Usually, I do not post reviews but, I realized how important reviews are in the search of a new home. I would give 10 starts if I could! Visiting from another country, I was extremely worried about the place I will be living in. The management was extremely helpful with my lease adjustments and they were very understanding of some difficult ...circumstances I had. During my stay, I never had any issues. On the contrary, management was always helpful and I appreciated when they would reach out when there were any questions and concerns. Echelon care a lot about the quality of life the tenants have and that would be something all tenants are looking for. Management was very receptive when I had maintenance questions and requests after I moved in. Those were fixed right away! The place is modernized and very comfortable in terms of having a parking garage and in-unit washer/dryer/dishwasher. It is so peaceful and quiet with great scenery right out of the panoramic windows. Always clean, fresh and well- maintained. Neighbors are classy and very friendly. It is a bit pricey but, totally worth every single penny. I had to pay 1/2 rent for the rest of my lease despite a more than 90 days prior notice but, still I would not be looking for another place to live in if I was not moving to another state.
