STAY AWAY
August 24, 2023Dishwasher was broken an entire month just to be fixed only cause we called everyday and now broke two weeks later. Took a week to come look at it and confirm its broken. We have three kids and newborn so dishwasher is needed. Now on day 3 of no dishwasher and anytime we call we get same run around "top of list be there today" this place is an absolute joke.Review from Apartments.com
Very Poor Managment
October 17, 2019Overall the living spaces and amenities are in good condition. The pool is spacious and well designed. The problem with this living community is the poor management. Often times the staff is unknowledgeable, uncooperative and unhelpful. There are not enough parking spaces in the complex for every resident. If you choose to live in this complex, prepare to park outside of the gates, a couple of blocks away. In the past month alone my roommate has been towed twice, costing him over $300 and ...considerable inconvenience. I would only recommend Edgewater Crossings as a last resort.Property Manager Responded

We are aware that you may not like the answers to your questions or concerns, however, we do not feel as though they are uncooperative or unhelpful. As we explained to you and your roommates yesterday, we are aware that you find parking at your front door or next to your building some nights a challenge and we are working diligently with our Courtesy Officer to reduce those challenges. We also rely on our community members to help us in this endeavor by notifying Management and the Courtesy Officer when you see non-residents parking on site. We enjoy having you a part of our community and we look forward to working with you to find resolutions to your concerns.

DO NOT RENT HERE!! Awful Management!!
March 23, 2019We moved to PCB in December and we had a down payment on a 2 bed 2 bath apartment since October to move in on February 1st. We kept in contact with the management throughout Dec. and Jan. with everything moving smoothly. A week before our move in date the rude manager in the office informed us that they had rented our apartment to someone else. They offered us another apartment that was $200 more and could not promise that the roof would not leak. Do not rent at Edgewater!Review from Apartments.com
Highly Recommend
May 18, 2018I think Edgewater’s biggest asset is their people. The people that work in the leasing office are always so friendly. You can pop your head in the leasing office for whatever reason and they’re always there waiting with a smile. In particular, Lisa made choosing Edgewater an easy choice. She was in constant communication every step of the way. She always makes sure that her residents feel at home, especially during the happy hours when she personally welcomes everyone individually and takes the ...time to have a conversation with them to make sure everything is going well with their homes. Do NOT rent apartments at Edgewater Crossings!
December 8, 2017At the beginning everything was alright. But ones you move out there the problems start. We left notice about moving out a month early, made sure that everything is set to go, even were going to paint to wall, as there were small dents, but management said that its fine and we are good to go. We left moving address and thought everything will be ok. After 3 month we got collections on all our accounts for not paying the debt. They failed to deliver us certified letter, never contacted us any ...other way and decided to file for collection. But they didn't forget to add extra charges. They added key cost ($150), mailbox keys ($100), late fees (?!) and so on. But we returned those on time and they wont admit it. We always take pictures of anything we have to charge for and send all statements to the address provided at move out. We also are available to walk a move out with any resident who wishes to do so. Our desire is to always refund as much deposit as possible.

January 15, 2017The office staff is completely negligent and incompetent in their duties. Be wary of ANY positive reviews on any site as they offer incentive packages for leaving positive reviews. I've spoken to numerous tenants who have experienced issues with mold and water damage that have gone unaddressed. When my fiancé filed a work order to have such damage inspected. The on site repairmen painted over obvious cracks, mold, and water damage. The leasing officer stated that it was none of the above and that ...it was due to poor construction and poor quality materials being used. We still insisted a contractor be brought in and have the areas tested. 4 months later we have still yet to see the results of any test and are being charged for the damage caused by the "not" mold and water damageProperty Manager Responded

Not a lovely place.
January 1, 2017A word of warning. Take pictures when you move in and when you move out or they will blame the imperfections that existed prior to your moving in on you. They don't replace the carpet when previous tenants leave so any stains will be charged to you. Also don't hang a headboard or very many pictures.. Apparently they charge if there are "too many holes" in the wall. They charged us and we had one headboard to wall sconces and 12 pictures in a 2 bedroom apartment. We even spackled the holes and ...scrubbed the place top to bottom before leaving. They took our deposit and charged us over 600 dollars!!! Numerous neighbors as we were leaving said they would be leaving too because it used to be great apartments but since the new management they are going downhill and not worth the money. DO NOT RENT AT THIS PLACE...OVER PRICED AND RUDE OFFICE STAFF!
July 5, 2016I will write a very much on point TRUE review of this place! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Office is never opened and calls are never answered or returned. Office manager and some of the girls in the office is VERY RUDE! Pool stays dirty and gates never work! Tried to pay my rent BUT OFFICE is always closed...no Dropbox or anything! When I called to tell them I needed to pay and no one in office before the 4th of July holiday...they NEVER returned my call. I went in office today ...to pay and not only were they RUDE but told me I will have to pay an extra $75 plus do it in a money order! Then giggled as my daughter and I walked out! NOT PROFESSIONAL! Had a drunk man beat on my door at 9:25 pm loudly and when I answered my door...said I better not make any noise by hanging a picture (which I was hanging NOT LOUD AT THAT) he scared my daughter and young niece to tears! Called to report this only to have them tell me I am not to hang a picture OR vacuum past 9 pm. I AND MY 15 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER ARE MISERABLE HERE!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
