About Edgewood Apartments

Welcome to Edgewood Apartments All of our floor plans include a wood burning fireplace, walk in closets, built in bookshelf (1 bedrooms only), washer and dryer connections, patio or balcony with exterior storage or sunroom, and all major kitchen appliances. We cover the water, sewage, pest control, and garbage service. We have 2 sparkling swimming pools on the property, a fitness center, and a laundry facility all in our gated community. We love our pets!! Our community is located on a peaceful secluded area but, that does not mean we are not accessible to the rest of Baton Rouge. We have a Neighborhood Winn Dixie a block away from our community, amazing restaurants like Portobello’s, The Coffee Bean, Dempsey’s, Masons, and much more. We are right around the corner from major intersections like Coursey Blvd, Airline, Siegen Lane, Sherwood Forest, and O’Neal Lane where major shopping areas are located like Siegen Market Place or the Mall of Louisiana. If you are trying to visit New Orleans or Hammond you can easily reach interstate 10 or 12 in less than 10 minutes.

Im not a resident here, but these people do not answer phones. I left a voicemail Friday and they still haven’t gotten back to me. It’s so hard to get in contact with them because their automated phone call routine. Definitely need better business. It may be just as hard to contact them about anything else about the apartment after moving in. I do not recommend.

Since last year, I have had a severe roach problem. I have lived here a while and this is the first time I am battling these insects. I have heard about this issue from several other residence. I have called the office several times about this matter to no avail and if they did so something about it, the problem has gotten worst. This rent is extremely too freaking high to have to continue to deal with this type of issue. As of lately, management do not answer the phone. I really enjoy living ...
here, but if this issue do not get resolved before my lease is up, I am leaving. Renter beware!

Quiet and Lovely Place to Call Home

My apartment is very spacious and has plenty of storage and closet space for me and my teenage daughter. I feel safe with her coming home from work late. Maintenance is prompt with all work orders. My neighbors are friendly. Pets are allowed. The pool area is neat and well kept. Edgewood is a great place to call home.

My apartment has a bug (roaches and spiders) problem noisy neighbors and they call the police every other week the maintenence on the back yard is horrible my toilet had the caulk coming off twice and I had to call maintenence. We have only been here 4 months and it's a lot to deal with especially since the rent is almost $800 for a one bedroom. Me and my husband are looking to move as soon as our lease is up.
