July 25, 2016Worst Apartment complex ever. Full of smokers and pot heads. If you have a family or kids or even you care about your own health DO NOT MOVE THERE. Noisy neighbors and lots of weed smokers all around. Housing office does not handle or care about any complains. The place is expansive too, with the same money you get much better quality some where else.Review from Apartments.com

August 19, 2015El Sereno Apartments lay on the divided line between Pomona and Claremont. El Sereno Apartments is a quiet and nice place but recently I'm starting to notice the downfall of the service that they claim to have. Work orders that are placed here are kind of like that one missing sock that you always lose during laundry time. You sometimes wonder what alternate dimension it went to and whether or not it will come back to you some day. Management here is always different so it is hard to develop a ...bond between management and renter. Even though there is a lack of consistency, the management is always nice. There is much potential here that has yet to be explored into. EL SERENO APTS - Just notify new residents about the importance of cleaning their ac units regularly, especially if they haven't had one before.
August 14, 2015Our apartment has served us well so far. The layout is nice and our bathroom is nice as well. The only utility we need to pay is our electricity bill which has always been very low. We even got a free carpet cleaning with the renewal of our lease. Each apartment in our complex has an air conditioning unit that does need to be maintained often. For months we had been fighting a cough and even pneumonia only to find the cause being that the ac unit needed a thorough cleaning beyond just the filter. ...Management did not bring cleaning the ac unit to our attention would have been helpful to know upon moving in. August 14, 2015The apartments a great for the price. Just a short walk from the Claremont Village. The location can't be beat. Access to a ton of great parks. The apartments are older, but expected since all the apartments in the area are older. The staff is friendly and always available to assist for any reason. Made it easy to get approved and move in. They pay all utilities except for the electric bill. There are apartments on the same street that are similar in price, but way less impressive. Serene apartments
July 20, 2015The apartments are in a good area. The apartments themselves are in a fair shape. However, since the new management company took over, prices have spiked up and maintanance seems to be around less. Neighbors are pretty friendly. The office people are a hit or miss. Some of them are super friendly and helpful. Others just want to act like they really can't do much for you. We would love to stay another year but the price increase for a two bedroom seem to be unreasonable especially since the ...apartments are still considered Pomona.
