Trusted my gut!
March 30, 2023I just moved into Oasis at Ballast Point in Tampa and I really love it here so far. Truth is, this place is even better than I expected based on the photos and the nasty reviews. I’m glad I trusted my gut and checked it out myself. My apartment is spacious and stylish, with lots of windows that make it really bright and open. The kitchen has high-end finishes like quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances - it's gorgeous and perfect for entertaining. And the washer/dryer in unit is so ...convenient. The location is fantastic too, very close to downtown, the riverwalk and Amalie Arena but still feels like its own little oasis. It's charming, relaxed and within walking distance of everywhere I want to go. The staff have been super helpful and responsive so far. Any issues I've had have been addressed promptly and professionally. I can't complain about the service and experience here at all. Overall, I'm really happy and settling into this new home. The place itself, amenities, service and community feel cohesive, compelling and more than meet my needs and expectations. I Love My Own Green Space

My New Home!
March 23, 2023I recently moved into an apartment at Oasis at Ballast Point, and I'm really enjoying calling it home. The spacious and stylish apartments apparently have newly replaced appliances and finishes that make living here comfortable and convenient. There are also great community, including a pool, fitness center, and clubhouse. The location is perfect, with shopping, dining, and entertainment options nearby, as well as easy access to highways and public transit. The staff at Oasis at Ballast Point is ...extremely helpful and professional. They made my move-in process a breeze and are always available to assist with any questions or issues. Overall, Oasis at Ballast Point offers an outstanding living experience with all the conveniences one could want. ROACHES & HOMELESS
August 27, 2022The place is filled with roaches I’m a clean person dishes do not ever sit in the sink & my apartment is cleaned regularly but roaches seem to have infested this place. I bought my own person pest control spray because the complex hasn’t done anything about the roaches. The lights outside your door do not work so coming in after the sun is down can be quite uncomfortable especially because there is ALWAYS homeless & drug addicts lingering outside my door. Being a single woman living alone I DO ...NOT recommend living here. Unfortunately the maintenance people are clearly overworked. When I got my apartment I noticed a ton of places that were dirty & just painted over but also a ton of places that need to be painted & were not because they look filthy. Also there are tons of spots in the apartment that the area was painted but half done b/c there is patches where there in no paint. The cosmetics wouldn’t bother me so much but the amount of roaches I kill a day is extremely excessive please do not waste your time or money coming to live here. Doesn’t seem like management cares at all.Property Manager Responded
September 20, 2022We are sorry to see your negative review. We do not feel that the concerns you have shared are indicative of how the majority of our tenants feel. We do understand that some residents may experience issues with pests, and we take that seriously. Based on feedback received we have recently changed our pest control vendor to make sure residents feel well serviced in this area. We hope that this change will resolve any ongoing issues you may have. We encourage all residents to contact law enforcement, as the property staff does, when anyone who is not a resident is loitering on the property. We understand this can be troublesome and we have recently posted no trespassing signs along with authorization for the local authorities to trespass on our behalf. We continue to do all that we can to improve the property for the residents to enjoy.

Greatly improving
July 31, 2022Our friend recommended this place she’s been here couple years. We moved in 3 months ago. They are doing a ton of rehab both insides and outsides, just added a cool mural. So some construction but the overall property is fast improving. We told new overseas owners and new property mgr company. The lady in office Eileen is pretty reponsive, she’s new. We are in one of the renovated 2-beds and it’s really nice. Like a brand new building and in fact, inside looks so much nicer than ...outside. The area is great as walking distance to million dollar homes, very central location to work in St pete or to go South Tampa for nice restaurants. There’s a great kid/family friend Wash Zone nearby too.Property Manager Responded

Mold, Roaches, and No Ac
July 18, 2022No matter how many times you call to talk about problems regarding your apartment they do not care. I haven’t had AC in months, these apartments have roaches. My apartments bathroom flooded from a piped busted in the ceiling and there’s mold everywhere. They do not care.Property Manager Responded

We noticed your review was written on August 2021 when the apartment was under the prior ownership; this property is under new management and owners as of Feb 2022. We are currently doing significant renovations to the property, both interior and exterior. We are putting in brand-new washers/dryers and kitchen appliances; new countertops; and new showers, toilets, and vanities. New flooring and painting are being performed. On the outside, we are updating the pool, the 2 pergolas, and outdoor kitchen/bar including modern grill for barbecuing, etc. Our goal is to create an "oasis" that will uplift the tenants. The property is in a gentrifying area of Tampa with great access to major roads: we are excited at all the potential value of this apartment. If you have the opportunity, please come visit us and take a look!
