An apartment to avoid
August 23, 2022A building to avoid. Despite the great location, there are too many issues with the apartment and management to stay. Packages get stolen, maintenance takes forever to respond to requests (if they come at all), the in-unit washer-dryer is a joke and shouldn't count as in-unit laundry, and things break because it seems like they were cheaply made. The fire alarm is too sensitive (if the oven is on 500 for more than 10 minutes it goes off). Insulation is poor so the AC doesn't cool the place down ...in the summer, and the heating doesn't warm it up in the winter (winter was freezing and summer is sweltering). We're on the fifth floor and have mice. Something questionable is going on in the building, and the main door is frequently broken.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
AVOID
August 10, 2022Where do I start? How about the beginning: on our move in date the apartment was not ready. The maintenance guy and the cleaner were still in the apartment with less than half the work done. They left the apartment when we started putting boxes in the bedroom, but the apartment was dirty with cockroaches on the floor! Other highlights: The floor reeks of smoke even though the apartment complex says it’s non smoking, and management has $1000 fee if you want to put a roommate on the lease. Toilet ...doesn’t work right…stove is right next to fridge and someone before us caught the side of the fridge on fire because of this and it melted (there’s enough room in the kitchen for the fridge not to be next to the stove, too). The management is the worst. AVOID!!!!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Stay Away
January 6, 2018For your own sanity, please don’t rent here. Put aside the fact that none of the promised amenities are available—construction lingers months longer than promised—we haven’t had hot water for days. What was their solution yesterday? Space heaters—for a hot water problem. Stay away folks. Stay far, far away from this ridiculously expensive, terribly managed property. It’s the farthest thing from the advertiser “luxury apartment” you can imagine.Review from Apartments.com
Do not live here!
January 6, 2018Drafty windows. Cheap construction. Bad management. Constant maintenance issues. Small refrigerators. No amenities (under construction still, though promised in July) Stay way.Review from Apartments.com
Excellent Management, Excellent Building!
April 10, 2017I just moved into one of the two bedrooms here and they are so beautiful! The property manager, Dominque Danielle, could not have been more helpful in talking about our needs and ensuring a smooth application process. She's invested in making the apartment a community center and it already shows. She has been so helpful in teaching us about the neighborhood and its resources. The application process was painless and she even helped us with utilities set up to make sure our first night in the ...apartment was a smooth one. I really feel like I found a new home instead of just a new apartment. Thanks Dom, Jason, and the whole Embassy Tower team!Property Manager Responded
