this apartment complex has cockroaches

We have lived here for years and never experienced any bug issues, until six months ago. A neighbor with cockroaches left, and they came looking for new refuge. Management sends out a pest control services every time we see another roach, but seems to have made no effort to find the source of the problem. Every time I notify management they give me little information. There have been no building wide notices, and we are now dealing with month seven of having to remove everything from our cabinets ...

to spray for roaches invading our space. It’s disgusting.

The apartment’s location is amazing. Close by the beach, pharmacies, malls, restaurants, schools and everything you need! It is Modern, renovated, clean, and very well maintained as well as the pools, barbecue area, parking lot, and gym. The leasing office staff is awesome! Sasha and Yazmin are very polite and super diligent. They do their best to keep the condominium organized. Furthermore, the neighborhood is friendly and quite. I would really recommend Essex Heights

The inside of the home was very clean and the renovations made were done well. Management was very responsive to maintenance issues and problems I experienced while living in the home. I lived there alone and felt completely safe in this community. Facilities were clean and easy to use. It’s a safe bet that wherever you live within this community you’ll walk to your car and see the ocean. With that being said, there is no visitor parking and resident assigned parking spots are extremely small. ...

For the short time I lived there (less than 6 months), I experienced water shut off for maintenance 5 times. I would recommend this complex for it’s price and location as a short term home.

No guest parking, rude management

This apartment complex is constantly dirty, laundry appliance are disgusting. The trash overflowing with the smell floating into apts. Screaming kid, barking dogs (even though they aren’t supposed to be allowed) and worst of all-NO guest parking and they tow. The apartments themselves look decent but lots of little things falling apart. Would never have moved in knowing what I know now.

This complex was everything I was looking for when I recently moved to San Diego. The one bedrooms are very spacious, have lots of light, and balconies off the living room. Applying and moving into the unit was a very smooth process. The complex is quiet, landscaped nicely, and has a pool. It's also a 5 min drive to the beach, and a 30 minute walk.
