I wish I could give 0 stars …. ROACHES!!!!! Do NOT MOVE HERE! I have not moved in any of my belongings in because there are ROACHES not only that I was moved into an unclean apartment! Manager will not speak to me or return any calls or visits! STAY AWAY!

Great Apartments

I moved in back in June and I've really like living here. Maintenance is always quick to respond to our requests. There's lots of space. Super affordable. I love our little balcony and the large sliding door lets in so much sunlight. The only reason I don't give this 5 stars is because they don't have recycling dumpsters and unfortunately one of our showers is not level.

Reasonable Home

Forest Park is a reasonable place to call home. The additional utility fees due with rent are quite fair (especially compared to how much we payed when renting a house before moving here). I love being in a pet friendly community as I love my pets! Occasionally I can hear barking when I am in the hallway, but I never hear barking once inside my apartment. I don't even hear people from inside my apartment. The highway is super close, but you get used to it. No deal breaker there. Also ...
super close is the park. It's great not having to drive to a playground. Occasionally, the geese will wander around the pond behind the apartments. At times it kind of feels like the park extends into the apartment complex. I really appreciated when the office staff brought my children Popsicles while swimming. The summer days were crazy hot, but the pool felt great and my kids loved the treat! The staff is on top of keeping the pool chemicals regularly checked and balanced. They always send an email as soon as their testing has been completed. That certainly makes it easy when my kids are bugging me to get down to the water. I would recommend Forest Park to any families searching for their next home. Any crazy, super loud folks might want to look somewhere else as I doubt you'll fit into this community! Lol

FORSET park is in a very convenient spot It’s by a trail that leads up to a very family orientated Park called Penguin Park. it’s by many fast food places. It’s by gas stations ,schools , I435 Highway 3 mins to get to the liberty highway. 10 min walk to gas stations. ALOT OF BUS ROUTES.. it’s very peaceful community to be apart of. The apartments are very understanding, fast move in dates. Helpful. And clean. Very nice maintenance.

No parking unless you pay

Don't move here unless you want to pay $300 extra a year for parking. Ever since Monarch took over it has gone down hill. The worst is the parking situation. The lease says that you have to have valid tags but there are multiple expired license plates in the parking lot. Multiple vehicles that have flat tires and others that haven't moved in months. There's even a junk storage van. It is full, and mean full, of junk and trash from the tailgate to the windshield, even the driver's seat has junk ...
piled on it and it has been that way for months. Every evening when I get home there is nowhere to park, unless you pay extra $300 a year for parking and it's not even covered parking. Multiple complaints have been sent to the office and the corporate office and nothing has been done. At this point it kinda feels like a scam, fill all of the spots with junk cars and you can squeeze extra $ out of your residents. My lease is up soon and I will not be renewing, learn from my mistake and stay far away from Forest Park or any Monarch owned property.
