Disorganized management, high fees
July 26, 2024We have lived here for almost 2 years, paid our expensive rent on time every month, cleaned the place very well when we moved out, yet GrandMarc is charging us $1,555.00, of which $575.00 is for a small stain on the bathroom vinyl floor that was there before we moved in 2 years ago (we thought it was part of the vinyl/or a small flaw) - HORRIBLE!!! June 17, 2024When I took the tour I thought this would be a perfect living situation, but I was fooled. The apartment they show in the tours is NOTHING like what you will get. When I first entered my unit almost every appliance was broken and the floors were filthy. April 2, 2024Don’t live here. I have lived here for 3 years and worked there as well. not worth ur money especially in riverside. DONT WASTE UR MONEY HERE! All the 5 star reviews are not true. they will either give you a gift card for a review or a little discount or something. they say it’s only students who are allowed to live there but it’s not true. they let 1 or 2 none students live there. they charge you for a whole month rent before moving in for cleaning purposes but nope. when i walked into my ...apartment for the. very first time it was a mess. i had trash in my drawers. my friends place had pet hair everywhere, human hair, pregnancy tests, condoms, and etc. Grandmarc did not clean anything. while living there i have been someone breaking into someone’s apartment through the window. Homeless people just walking in. They were also in the pool taking showers and etc. i have never seen the pool ever getting professionally cleaned. when my friends and i started working here, on our working contract it stated that we will be given a discount on our rent and my housemate who also worked there before me said yes, she got a discount. but when we brought it up tot he higher ups they said no, that’s not true when it was clearly in the contract they made us sign. when its time for new applicants, you get payed extra when someone signs a contract with you. i remember when the manager let others take your person so that they get the benefit. also if you ever wanna cancel ur contract here you can’t. you have to pay around 75% of ur rent AND find someone to replace u. terrible business
September 27, 2023Long response times for urgent matters such as charging me a whole month of rent after moving out, for damages that came with the room. comfortable and great location
March 24, 2021my roommate and I stayed here for 2 years so far, and we renewed for this fall too. The property is great, management is friendly, club house has EVERYTHING! including a movie theater, gym, pool, study center and more. Decent for the area
August 22, 2015I came in really scared after reading some of the reviews. However, I'm glad to say my experience has been a good one so far. The management is nice and helpful. When I need something done, like maintenance, they're always quick to respond. The rooms are completely furnished so that's a plus! The only reason why it's a 4 and not a 5 is that it can get a little loud sometimes. There's a lot of people that don't go to Ucr or even live here.
