coming from a owner's residence. We told the decision to fine us was made by the Board of which only owners are allowed to be on, and we were told that there was no way for us to repeal the decision. Additionally when I attempted to scheduled a time to move out, I was told that residents are now allowed to move out during the weekends. Like most D.C. residents I work weekdays 9-5 so I asked for an exception to be made. I was once again told it was up to the Board and that they would make no exceptions to what I believe to be an incredibly unreasonable and unfair policy. Additionally was informed that moving out "illegally" would result in another $500 fine. These are just two of the many examples I can think of in which we, as renters, were treated as second class residents in the building and were subjected to unfair regulations and threatened will financial penalties. Living in the Greenbriar was a never ending headache.
