Only luxury is everything being broken
December 5, 2022Absolutely nothing works around here, lights, gates, call box, office staff. Residents can't even get the gates to open to get home, office staff is 100% aware, I have called many times and spoke to everyone there, and nothing is being done, they all claim they weren't aware. The pool right outside the office windows is a disaster, broken chairs and chipped tiles all summer long, found a needle on the pool deck and the leasing agent just said she's off. Lights in the common areas are down, ...literally on the ground for months before they are fixed and then another month before the light fixture is replaced, and a few more weeks before the bulbs fixed. None of this is due to maintenance, they aren't aware of the issues because the leasing office staff don't know how to communicate. Took 2 months for my dishwasher to be replaced because the leasing office staff wasn't communicating with maintenance. Never spray the walkways for bugs like they claim to do. When you go to the property management company, the leasing office manager gaslight you in an email while CCing her boss at rhe property management company.Property Manager Responded

LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
November 26, 2022Do not waste a single dime on this place. It may look nice from the outside, but it really is trash. Lived there for three years and wish I would have moved out sooner. Management is a joke. Rude, unprofessional, and just out right awful people. They moved our garage spot without telling us. When they did that, they threw all of our belongings in the trash. IN THE TRASH. When I asked for them to give us our stuff back, that gave it to us in dirty trash bags. Most of those items were for my job. ...To top it off, we had our living room floor start to crumble away. A hole that was about a 1ft wide and 2ft deep.............. THEY DID NOTHING ABOUT IT. dragged their feet in doing anything. So we moved. Took over a month and a half to get our deposit. After many lies saying they sent it, the main office informed me they never sent it out until I called to complain. DO NOT LIVE HERE.Property Manager Responded

Pretty good place with some flaws
November 23, 2020For the most part everything is great. Office staff is friendly and quick to get an answer for our questions. Good price for the size of our apartment. Only issues are the parking and needing to give up assigned spaced for a garage which doesn’t solve any issue with two vehicles. The trash is always full even after it’s been taken by waste management, which causes there to be trash spread all over the street and property. Recycle doesn’t get taken enough. There’s been “construction” since the ...end of July that was supposed to take 4-5 weeks to finish but it’s sat unfinished and torn up since the beginning of August. Parking is frustrating
July 29, 2020Just moved in and the office seems disorganized. Didn’t have a copy of the keys on move in day, gave us the wrong parking spot number, wrong names on paper work .... etc. But living here for a week I’ve found PARKING to be the MOST FRUSTRATING. When I come back in the evening it’s hard to find parking so I called to ask to get a garage so I don’t have to worry about it. Then they tell me you have to give up your assigned parking spot for a garage. We have two cars .... it’s stressful after work ...having to worry about having to find parking. I wish they would have told us that before I moved here. It is a nice area and it’s quiet but I didn’t know if it’s worth it anymore because of the parking.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Fabulous Place!!!
April 27, 2018What a splendid place! We're moving to a brand new home in the fall, but I cannot imagine being happier there than we are here! The apartments themselves are cute and well-maintained, but it's the surrounding trees and lake that make it special. Try to get a lake view! You will see and hear ducks and geese, along with the occasional turtle. Last week we saw a spectacular blue heron flying by. The staff have been so helpful from day one, and the maintenance crew are speedy and efficient. ...Just love it!!!Property Manager Responded

Very poor maintenance service
May 26, 2017Even after reminding multiple times maintenance team doesn't even bother to fix the things on promised time. Took at least 10 days to fix the AC in this peak summer and now it's already past 3 days, bathroom water tank leaking out and has not been fixed. Maintenance guy-Jamie called at the end of day mentioning he can't fix it or do anything about (which he referred as courtesy call ). Instead, it would probably need more days (after long weekend) adding up to a weeks time to fix up an issue even ...after expressing urgent need of fixing it before long weekend as we have guests visiting us over the weekend. Way overpriced
May 5, 2017This place is deteriorating and yet they keep upping rents constantly. They will not work with you on the rent, ever! There are other safer and cheaper places to live. Plus theft is a constant problem here, management is rude when it comes to moving out too, again they only care about nickle and diming you.Property Manager Responded

2ND FLOOR UNIT AND ITS NOT SAFE FOR THEFT
November 30, 2015i just move 2 months ago from East Coast and found this apartment online, i like how i felt secure @ first but then i was wrong, i left my bicycle on my balcony , 2nd floor unit and it went missing :( also Ive notice that most of the time there's people that comes in the middle of night 0000- 0200 getting plastic bottles from trash , there's also incident that the gate has been broken for almost week and its open to all public and theft. September 26, 2015The best part of living at the Madrid is the maintenance handyman, Mario. The water is often off due to old plumbing. It's a good first apartment or a transition home. The rent is high for the area. There is gated entry and parking, however, many of the tenants let people in on their way in and out. I have lived here for 9 years, installed a metal security screen on my door and have enjoyed my stay--that said, there are definite issues. July 20, 2015This is our first place together, and I couldn't be happier. Balcony where I like to paint, overlooking the beautiful fountain and waterbed. We wake up to birds and trees rustling, instead of traffic or city noise. The apartment itself is spacious and very well renovated.
