Love living here, feel safe
August 28, 2024Recently sign lease renewal. My building is quiet. Like the 2 story buildings vs 3 story building even though it’s older interior. Maintenance staff is really efficient. Do not move here
July 21, 2024Dirty unit. Staff made me jump through hoops to get it mildly cleaned and the tub working. Will not give me mailbox keys or pool keys. Tries to make it seem like gated community but the gate doesn’t work. I’m breaking my lease.Property Manager Responded

Hawthorne Hill maintenance.
August 5, 2023The guys from maintenance had been wonderful. So-So
July 17, 2021There are pros and cons to living here. Pros, at quick glance the property does look nice and not run down. I do feel safe and maintenance has always been super helpful. Cons- parking. You have to pay for a parking pass now, which went up after the first year. I wouldn’t mind if there were not 2 cars sitting with expired tags right in front of my building, both which have not moved for a few months. Cleanliness- the hallways to the apartments are disgusting. Bird poop, dirty stairs (where ...residents have spilled things then it got sticky and filthy). It’s embarrassing to invite people over. The dumpster areas. Residents dump their furniture and clutter the areas and the trash company won’t pick them up, which is understandable if it is not part of the service. But then it will sit out there for weeks! Again, it’s disgusting. One other review mentioned the internet. Century Link in the only provider we can get here. At times it gets so slow and bogged down it’s frustrating.Property Manager Responded

Great Place to Live!
October 5, 2020My husband and I moved to Hawthorne Hill Apartments two years ago, from Wisconsin. Our apartment is spacious, has great amenities, and the maintenance staff here are wonderful! Carlos has been here many times to help us since we moved in; he has helped with stove, balcony door, and fireplace issues, and is always friendly! The rest of the maintenance team is friendly and helpful as well! Two other wonderful people came to fix our tub last week, and we are so grateful! Thanks Hawthorne!Property Manager Responded

This Place Is A Joke
January 19, 2020All of these wonderful amenities and perks and yet NOTHING is being managed or kept in good shape. Nothing. The hot tub is disgusting and lukewarm. The game room and workout room have been under construction all year. The fire pits don’t work. There’s hardly any grass and it’s brown. None of this has changed since I’ve moved in. The office staff are very rude. They will talk over you and will say the same automated message as everyone else. “I’m sorry you’re frustrated but...” then proceed to say ...they are at the “bottom of the totem pole”. They need to understand that working at a place like this with this many issues means they have to actually attempt to do something about it. The thing that really pushed me over the edge to write this review was that just last night around 11:45PM my car was towed. They did not give me a warning or even try to contact me. I just spent my Sunday driving 30 minutes to Arvada and wasting $320. I understand that when permits are paid this is what happens. But $320?!? And MIDNIGHT?! And NO warning?! This place does not care about you at all. They just want your money.Property Manager Responded

Awful!!!
August 21, 2018My boyfriend and I moved into an apartment nearly 2 months ago and we have had nothing but problems from the beginning. The apartment itself is great, as is the facilities such as the pool and gym, but that's about where it stops. The parking is awful. There is never anywhere close to park. Our mailbox is broken so we have to go to the post office to get our mail, and they also lost a package of mine. The internet situation is ridiculous. We still do not have internet, nor do 28 other residents ...I've come to find out through the horrible customer service of Century Link, which, by the way, is the only internet provider they allow, that they do not have room for another line for internet because everyone else that already had it got 5o double their speed, which takes up double the room, leaving nothing for nearly 30 residents. Yet they decide to build even more apartments, which they also didn't tell us about that is right outside our unit. Century Link stated that we will not be getting internet until the new apartments are complete. This apartment complex is absolutely ridiculous. The one manager they have is NEVER there, doesn't have a number to reach her, and doesn't answer emails. The other employees are of no help ever. If you are looking to rent an apartment, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! I will be moving out as soon as possible!!!!!Property Manager Responded

July 27, 2015My wife and I have lived in apartments since we moved out at 18 and this is the first time we could afford something a little nicer and we couldn't be happier with Hawthorne HIll.
