Great, for the price - but not good.

These apartments were intended for graduate students and non-traditional students, including students with families. The grounds are not kept, there are no (functional) gates in the rear, which is dangerous with small children when there's a steep slope leading to a creek. There is no grass, just dirt and weeds. get into the apartment through the cracks in the windows (and the air conditioners). The main air conditioner takes forever to cool the house, and is very loud. One of the ceiling fans doesn't work, and the stairway lights work only intermittently. Maintenance doesn't come by very easily, so toilets run constantly, and things go unfixed for months. There are cut water lines in the "yard" - so it spouts into big wet mud-holes in the dirt. But it's the cheapest apartment in town, so we deal with it. However, the school's "facilities management" personnel made it difficult to get into an apartment in the first place, waiting until my final year of school before actually getting us into it.
