In addition to the numerous events at the Ford Idaho Center, the city is known for its recreation. There are 24 parks located throughout Nampa as well as the Nampa Recreation Center. This has six swimming pools, three gymnasiums, a track, and even racquetball courts. The city is also known for its annual festivals which cater to residents and visitors alike.

The biggest annual festival in Nampa is the Snake River Stampede Rodeo. This is always a popular event and takes place during the third week of July. This is considered to be one of the top rodeos in the United States. The city also has its own Oktoberfest every year which is always a fun time. It usually takes place during the last week of September. 

Where are the nearby vacation spots?

There are several vacation opportunities only a few hours from Nampa. Sun Valley, Tamarack, and Ketchum are a few of the top ski resorts in the area. These locations also have zip lines, hiking, biking, and other recreation trails. These resorts provide beautiful recreation opportunities throughout the entire year, making for a great family getaway.

Where is the best place to move in Nampa?

There are several locations that residents looking for Nampa apartments can live. Garrity Boulevard and 16th Avenue provide easy access to the major roads, making for an easy commute.
