This has six swimming pools, three gymnasiums, a track, and even racquetball courts. The city is also known for its annual festivals which cater to residents and visitors alike.

The biggest annual festival in Nampa is the Snake River Stampede Rodeo. This is always a popular event and takes place during the third week of July. There are several vacation opportunities only a few hours from Nampa. Sun Valley, Tamarack, and Ketchum are a few of the top ski resorts in the area.
