August 14, 2015Looks great from the outside… Then Bam! Particleboard Cabinets that sounds like jail house doors when you close them. No need for fire extinguisher I guess…there are none! The Color scheme is to die for…I mean literally die for, including the carpet. Speaking of carpet, substandard or no underlayment, feels like I’m walking on the moon… OK I don’t know what it feels like to walk on the moon, but I did stay in the Rockies once. The lock on the patio door is quit inviting…to anyone ...that wants to come in when you’re not at home, it’s literally hanging off the door, and thank god for low water pressure, the shadow kitchen sink would be running over if I was fill it with more than two classes of water. Hmm, let’s see what else … Base boards…There are none! Sure make for an attractive looking room. Oh yeah, My Brand New Washing and Dryer my landlord was so proud to proclaimed. It has to be true what they say about Asians, I swear dose foreign machines has a mind of their own, the washer is so loud I’m afraid to run it in fear of being arrested for disturbing the peace, sometimes I’m spared the agony when it decides to stop in the middle of the cycle. The dryer, if you manage to land on the right selection button at the right time, on the right day when it’s in the right mood, it would be nothing short of a miracle. Overall, I’m happy with my 800.00 a month one bedroom palace, forget about the fact that the bottom of the bathroom cabinet floor is caving in from water leaks, who cares about mentioning the Paint lumps in the carpet left over from maintenance. Besides, I sleep well knowing I signed a contract that told me that the place was prone to mold and that it’s my appointed duty to keep it at bay… Priceless!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Life At Horizon Square
August 14, 2015I have lived here for 10 years. Management has changed a few times,but all in all good people. It's quiet and we have a large park across the street. Upgrading kitchens is an on going process due to the fact that a lot of people stay here for years.Built to be condos they are large apartments 1,2 and 3 bedrooms. It is a nice place to live and close to everything.. I hope to be here for a long time to come.We also have an live on sight maintenance man and our manager is always available by phone ...if he is not here.
