Generally speaking, Everett experiences Mediterranean climate with mild winters and warm summers. July, the hottest month, records highs of around 72 degrees while January, the coldest month experiences lows of 36. Everett consists of an array of transport options, effectively making it a well-connected city. Everett Transit provides the locals with bus services within Everett while Sound Transit offers commuter train and bus services to neighboring Seattle. There are also connections to the rest of Snohomish County as well as rail connections to Seattle. All the bus and train connections are usually made at Everett Station, the main transport terminal. Snohomish County operates a facility for private aviation with the closest international airports being Boeing Field and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

If you are commuting between the northern and southern parts of Everett City, Colby Avenue and Hoyt Avenue are the two major streets that you will frequently use.
