Greedy New Owners
April 27, 2024After the pandemic, new owners, who are not native to El Paso, purchased the property. Not long after that, they started raising rates and cutting maintenance-related costs by making the renter responsible for AC/Heater upkeep, etc. Since the out-of-towners purchased the property, they have hiked rent by about 15%, a trend which continues to this day. Of course, the fault isn't theirs! It's the economy, stupid! It's "inflation," stupid; of course they're not just trying to take advantage of ...the economic headwinds to get more money out of your pocket! How dare you even suggest that. These people have no soul. There's a reason why these old apartments have been below market average for 10-15 years, maybe longer; but don't let the lead paint waiver in the lease scare you! As long as the owners get their cut, let them eat cake.Property Manager Responded
June 14, 2024Yes, we have raised our rents since the pandemic like every other apartment complex because all of our costs have increased, property taxes, insurance, wages, supplies, etc. However, we pride ourselves on keeping our rents lower than our competitors because we want our tenants to stay and enjoy living here. We give our tenants free a/c filters each month so they don't have to buy them themselves and their a/c units will run efficiently. Over the past 3 years we have remodeled both pool areas, added a gas BBQ area, added a dog park, in addition to remodeling many apartments. The owner is hands on at the property every day over seeing every aspect of the property and making many improvements for the benefit of the tenants.

Super happy
November 17, 2022I moved here at the beginning of September and I am so happy here. I have a loft apt and it's awesome. There's a generous patio with a storage room with killer views of the mountains and city. I really like the whole complex. It's clean and quiet. Friendly neighbors. The laundry rooms are really nice too. Big baskets in the washing machines and you can pay by scanning them. The gym is nice and so are the pools and picnic areas. I can always find a parking spot close to my apartment. Management ...was very nice and easy to work with as well. Excellent Place To Live!
September 20, 2021Kings Hill Apartments are without a doubt the coolest and most peaceful apartments I have ever rented at. I have lived in my loft with a spectacular mountain view of downtown for two years now. To give you some perspective, on the adjacent hill are million dollar homes with the same view, making Kings Hill Apartments one of a kind, especially with the affordable price of rent. Not to mention the excellent Management team who have always been extremely kind and helpful in any request I have had. ...Ask for Karla, she rocks! Great place to live in
January 26, 2021It’s only been my 3rd month living at this complex and I have nothing but good things to say. My downstairs toilet wasn’t working and it was fixed that SAME day, the laundry rooms are always open and clean with working machines. The office staff are so friendly and always willing to help even at the last min (it’s gotta be reasonable tho). I’ve lived at two other complexes and the services their were bad from the time they would take to respond to the shotty work that would be done. King of the Hill

Awesome affordable apartments
September 4, 2018I lived here for two years while I attended UTEP. Mary and the front desk staff made everything from move in to move out super easy! They always answered my questions and concerns in a timely and effective manner. They always remembered my name and asked how me and my puppy were doing. The maintenance staff was also really great. The only problem I had here was with my HVAC unit/electric bills but everyone did what they could to help me fix it and we came to a good compromise and solution in the ...end. Plus you can’t beat this complex’s location/price combo. There is tons to do in the area. They were very pet friendly in regards to my puppy and the neighbors were kind and respectful as well. Great place
November 10, 2016We stayed at El Paso for 8 months. The place is great. The service is great. The view is amazing. I got a new job, thus, had to leave the city. Otherwise, had no plan to move out. I was in a 2 bed 1 bath apartment and it was very spacious. The only problem is that you need a car otherwise have to walk for 15-20 minutes to go to the top of the hill (where the apartment is!!).Review from Apartments.com
