Close Call - We Didn't Sign the Lease
February 27, 2017WARNING: DO NOT GIVE THEM CASH. The management company and property owners are shady, and not easy to work with. Be careful when signing their rental application form as they state no deposit or money given can be refunded, MEANING not just their credit check processing fee, but ANY money put down for the security deposit is forfeited to them. (This is illegal by the way.) Though we initially put down $400 as part security deposit, we were almost NOT refunded when we decided to not go forward ...with the rental due to many red flags that ensued. My husband and I dodged a bullet by not going through with signing the lease.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
