November 19, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comDO NOT MOVE HERE. Your car will be broken into, if not stolen. Since we've been here this happened TWICE. This is sooo common in these apartments regardless if the gates are working or not. I'm beginning to think it's an inside job. Security is nonexistent. Police cars are parked at the front of the building as decoration, not necessarily for security. The apartments are nice in the inside but terribly made if you actually look at the construction. The building is not well kept. The garage is ...full of trash. "Secured" doors are not secure. The dog park is a joke. It's a huge field full of poop and prayers. Be ready for the fire alarms to go off at random times in the middle of the night.. With no fire and no explanation from management. I requested a copy of my lease via email Aug. 15th. It's Nov. 19th and Mariela still hasn't responded. I really tried to give this building some grace despite prior issues, but I'm so tired and ready to move. Thankfully, our lease is ending and we're not renewing. I do not recommend anyone to move here that values their property. I have never contacted my insurance so much since being here smh. I will say Stacy has been kind but that does not outweigh the many cons that comes with living here. We pay our rent on time, everytime and would like to feel safe and not worry about it our vehicle will be damaged or even outside when we wake up. Invest into some real security. And please do not contact me to discuss my review without resolution/compensation for having to file ANOTHER insurance claim. Living here has become a huge inconvenience. Fire alarms were sounded in the last year due to retail construction, but this is not an ongoing issue for us. This is my 2nd year here (resigned my lease because it was during lockdown and was easier to stay than move), and I regret that decision every day. For a very new complex, this place has gone to total crap. To make matters worse, it’s changed management 3X, and it’s gotten progressively worse each time. The new management company is disorganized and incapable of getting back to you - I ...once had to email for 2 weeks about the same issue of someone leaving their broken desk in the stairwell hallway (too lazy to actually take it to a dumpster) - and currently, the chain that raises/lowers the blinds for our sliding balcony doors has been broken for TWO MONTHS now, despite my maintenance work order AND physically visiting the office 3X now to ask about it. Taking bets on whether this will actually get fixed before I move out in September. The residents here are so disrespectful for others... screaming in the hallways, leaving trash and dog pee on the floors in common areas without picking up, poop on the sidewalk.... bear in mind there are FREE poop bag dispensers located outside, but apparently that’s too much effort. Save yourself the stress and look somewhere else... you will be wanting to break your lease sooner rather than later... trust me, I’m in that boat now. I’m counting down the days until I can get one of here.... which is SAD. This place is pretty new and has SO much potential and gorgeous amenities... but DANG, it’s gone downhill. I am very particular and I had a 5 point system that ranged from location to modern style to natural lighting in the home. Broadstone beat all the competition in my price point and some in the higher price points I was considering. I love my unit and the view. Its really quiet. The amenities are awesome...the only thing I wished is that I was able to get a gas stove unit. No one is moving out of those lol. I received an amazing ...price for the B2 plan and had amazing service and communication from office staff to get it.
