    I have loved living here! The amenities are extremely nice and maintenance is always friendly and quick to help. My experience has been fantastic and I have been here for three years now.

    The look of the apartment is very pretty. The maintenance folks are really helpful. But the cost to amenities ratio is horrible. The pool is barely functional. The gym stinks all the time. The society has no street lights to at night it seems pretty unsafe to walk.

    My area is chill, no complaints because everyone stays to themselves and is very respectful. We all keep the area clean and don’t bother anyone else. Even the buildings across the way are chill.

    Lago Vista hides problems with the units, there's literally whole in my floor, the vent smells like cigarettes when the AC unit is on, we have carpenter bees on our patio we canned the office they told us "Oh yea they love that corner" not to mention we did have a screen door for our patio, only got one cause the bees were coming inside. Other problem is that they took the car canopies/assign parking after they advertised it as part of the least now, they took them no adjustment to rent or ...
    anything. This is literally the worst place I have ever rented. Mills Properties have to do better with Lago Vista they are literally letting it run to ruins.

  • Lago Vista is Unsafe

    Lago Vista has become seriously unsafe. The parking canopies were wired for electricity to lighting, but now they have made the blundering decision to remove ALL canopies, the outside has become too dark to just walk to your car! There was a written notice that said parking would be unassigned starting 2/3/25 and residents would receive a notice 1 week before the canopies would be removed and no adjustment to the rent; claiming something absurd as it was constructed later. Guess what? No notice ...
    before the canopies were removed. It is no longer safe or comfortable here.

    Don't rent here at Lago vista everything will break down on you. When Maintenace comes out they barely fix anything and if they do it will most definitely break again. They are overpriced they raise your went up every time you renew your lease if you know what's best for you stay away from Lago vista.

  • Look Carefully Before Renting

    Air conditioners are old, so your utility bills are high. Trash dumpsters are overflowing on a regular basis with trash all around. The pond is green. There are better places for the same amount of money in Saint Charles. Keep looking.

  • Really, Really Bad

    Location, location, location...but that is it. The grounds are not well maintained, this includes the pond, pool area, sidewalks, parking lots, buildings, shrubbery and so on. If you don't look closely you might think 'okay' but the longer I live here the worse it gets. The trash dumpsters are always overflowing. Mattresses and other furniture are consistently stashed in different places. The grass gets too long before it is cut. Additionally, maintenance INSIDE the apartments is slow at ...
    best. DON'T pay ANY money until everything is fixed in the apartment. They still haven't fixed several items which were on my move-in sheet. The place isn't cheap either. There is much better out there. I am looking forward to the end of my contract.
