This apartment complex is nestled in a residential neighborhood in the heart of Milwaukee's trendy and bustling east side. It's a quiet and peaceful setting, even though you're only a few blocks from everything (shopping, restaurants, Lake Michigan, UWM).
The building itself is well cared for and meticulously maintained. I lived here for three years and in that time, the public areas were all attractively remodeled and the laundry room received a much-needed upgrade - brand new washers and ...
dryers that utilize an app on your phone (but will also take quarters).
My apartment was attractive and comfortable. Heat and water are included. Each apartment has a thermostat so you can regulate the temperature to your own comfort level. Indoor parking is available to those who want it. Best of all, management is friendly, professional, and responsive.

The apartment is excellent. The lobby is nicely furnished. I see a cleaning crew every week even mopping stairs. My bike is safe in the garage. There is a nice mix of neighbors to get to know. With my disability, the elevator is easily accessible, spacious, and I can roll my laundry to the facilities.
My studio feels like a one-bedroom and is very spacious. The kitchenette has it's own door and a bar looking out into the room. There are room divider and a couple of closets.

always on top of my emails, maintenance is responsive. I am a struggling young professional with two jobs that I am overqualified for and the team has listened to me. I can have visit the office on a bad day and leave feeling supported.
My last apartment had bed bugs, sink explosions, lost heat in -20 degree weather. The lobby smelled of smoke. My neighbor was a drunk who had the police called on him for being loud 4x. Another neighbor had a cat she yelled at and gave me fleas. This apartment is kept clean, and always seem to be making improvements on lobby furniture and design.
Despite it being 10 minutes from UWM I have not heard over the top partying. I may hear noise once every few months but it is normal Friday night enjoyment.
For a young professional, I can come to Lake Terrace after work and feel at home. I feel safe and welcome. Management truly cares and if I need to be heard I feel valued. It is a little pricey, but it is a nice place to come home to.

Clean and quiet

I am pleasantly surprised with my apartment. I live in a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom with one roommate. When we moved in the apartment had clean carpets, bathroom, and blinds. I rarely hear my neighbors that live above me and never have heard the apartments next to me. This summer the a/c unit in the living room was able to cool off the whole apartment with the assist of fans. Overall, this place has been better than my last residence of two years. Lastly, the business that manages the property is ...
fantastic as well. Hallways, entryways, garage, and every other public space is always well maintained. I would definitely recommend this apartment for any college person looking for a clean and affordable apartment.
