I've lived at LST for 3 yrs and it's been a GREAT experience. Clean, well maintained, friendly helpful staff and gorgeous gounds.
Only reason it's 4 stars for me is it's the furthest thing from "smoke free" enviroment as advertised.
The amount of marijuana smoke coming through my bathroom & kitchen vents is ridiculous and you can quite literally get contact high just walking through the hallway. Being asthmatic I find this to be challenging & VERY annoying.
Gotta take the good with the bad ...

My spouse and I have happily lived here for over 30 years. We love the view, we love the peace and quiet. The management and staff are the absolute best. We could have bought a house or a condo, but we CHOOSE to stay here, it is that great.

When the door opened to what would became my penthouse apartment apartmentat Lake Shore Towers, the sun shined a path to the living room windows. As I walked to the warmth on that May day, the view I was about to visually embrace would bring me to tears. The view from the upper floors of this 11 story high rise are beyond priceless. Perfectly set between the woods of Grant Park to the south and the wide bike trail that winds through the woods to the north, is also right along the cliffs ...
overlooking shimmering blue Lake Michigan. As if that alone wasn't worth the monthly affordable rent, other noteable amenities are spacious parking spaces, an in house gym, heated outdoor pool, on site laundry & storage lockers. The management is winderful & on site caregivers are quick to do repairs & beautify the grounds, making this one of the most well kept secrets along the shores of Lake Michigan just south of Milwaukee.
