Terrible
December 9, 2022Recommend finding a different place to lease from. 1. Our dog got sick from how much dog crap there was laying around. Had to take him to the ER. We told the office this. Nothing happened to fix the mess outdoors. 2. They'll ignore your need for privacy and come into your home when you ask them not to. We told them several times to leave us alone. They then ignored our wishes and essentially told us we have no choice. 3. They tried raising our rent $200 in one year, after just raising it the ...year before too. Don’t expect much
May 31, 2021This complex is old and it shows. The doors don’t shut properly, light fixtures were broken when I moved in, the old walls looked like they’ve been painted a dozen times and not well, the appliances and cabinetry haven’t been updated since the 80s. There’s bugs everywhere and they only do pest control if you call ahead and ask them. Even then, I was charged extra to have them spray for fleas. Management is alright. Nothing to rave about. Maintenance is alright too, things get fixed fairly fast. ...There has been reports of car break ins but I haven’t felt unsafe while living here. Just lock your car doors at night. Overall, the complex is old and dingy and I really can’t wait to move out this summer. I suppose it’s okay if you lower your expectations and only plan to live here for a year or two at the most.Property Manager Responded

Great place to live!
August 11, 2015Lakewood Villas is a hidden gem in Gainesville and I'm thankful to call it home. It is in a great location with easy access to shopping, entertainment and the highway, without the feel of being on a busy street. The complex is beautifully landscaped with mature trees and a nature preserve, which is great when having a large dog. The apartments are older but offer very generous square footage for the price. Another big plus: the walls are solid so noise is not usually a problem. They offer ...Resident Appreciation Month and the staff has always been friendly and responsive to my needs. Maintenance is responsive but ranks average compared to other places I've lived; their response time could definitely be improved. Lakewood Villas is a diverse community of families, professionals and students that offers quiet living in an ideal area. Definitely a steal and a great place to live! There is No Place like HOME!
August 10, 2015I Love my 2/2 Loft Style Apartment. My move in was easy, and the property managers have always been nice and helpful. My apartment is very large, and the view/maintenance of the place is gorgeous: from the pool with sundeck to the lush nature trails. There is a Washer/Dryer in every unit, which is a rare find in Gainesville. This property is a quick drive or bus ride to prime shopping areas, great restaurants, and schools. The apartment is also pet friendly! My favorite part is having a safe, ...quiet place to come home to. As a pharmacy student in a college town there is nothing greater!
