nightmare
February 9, 2023Our keypad was hacked and we had a break in last night. There is no security here and the maintenance worker continues to use our mailbox with out permission. Our apartment was flooded mysteriously thru the hall lighting fixture. The apartments are not as advertised. We were supposed to have an upgraded unit and ended up in a shabby hovel and every appliance has broken down. Violent neighbors screaming at us and pounding on the floor for hours. Apprehensive at first
September 14, 2022Unique circumstances led me to the Laurels. After going through multiple websites trying to find the right place at the right price, a friend found a listing for this complex. I had viewed and toured a lot of complexes. They were either dirty, uninviting, unmaintained, or a lot of the amenities they claimed to offer were not available or simply not functioning. The Laurels have been none of the above. As a renter for the first time in 25 years, I had a lot of questions. The staff was amazing in ...not only answering my questions, but did so in a manner that made me feel welcomed and non intrusive or burdening. I even had to switch my needs and they accommodated without hesitation. Judy, Erin, and Kaeleigh in particular have been nothing but helpful. Yes, it is an apartment. You will deal will noise. What I can say is they community is clean, the facilities are working and available, and the gentleman who maintains the grounds Steve, is working non stop. Second Go Around Renter
July 31, 2015This is our second unit at this complex, our overall experience has been good. The grounds are well maintained, there's a very handy car wash area, the pool and spa are a little small but are in a great area with good views of trees and a creek. Unlike some other apartments in the area that mostly are in a concrete jungle, here there's a lot of greenery and two creeks that surround this property. Unfortunately the gym is very lacking and the play area for kids is outdated and I believe a lot of ...the units have specific parts that need to be updated (cupboards drawers, bathroom vanity's all consistently appear very aged). There is the option for a fully updated unit tho if you can afford the luxury. As for the staff the maintenance team is amazing! kind, attentive, & does a great job! I can not say enough good things about them. Management was good but recently changed and I personally don't have experience with new members to speak on.
