Don't live here, they will take your money

When we first saw the apartment the price was lower than what the landlord told us in person, we were charge multiple fees which increased the apartment cost, we were delayed on when we were supposed to move in. Landlord had trouble receiving my partners emails, she used a yahoo.com email and even Gmail didn't work, however my Gmail account worked. Upon moving out they took our whole deposit on cleaning fees as well as changing batteries, a new doorknob and lock even though the old one was fine, ...

a new toilet seat, new shower heads and they charged us for a pet treatment cleaning for the carpet.We had no pets. Overall I would say this place will just take your money, I would reccomend you spend your money elsewhere.

I lived here for 7 years and they increased the rent every chance they legally could. I gave them over 60 thousand dollars during my time as a resident and when I left they charged me thousands of dollars to fix up the apartment for the next residents. They tried to charge me 600 dollars for paint labor, when legally they have to repaint the apartment anyway, and 600 is a ridiculous amount. They also charged for carpet cleaning which is rude to make the resident pay for. The carpet was 10 years ...

old and should have been replaced at the expense of the property owner. Landlords are trying to make this normal, when in the past residents were never responsible for repainting and carpet cleaning. Once you move in they try to take as much from you as they can. Some of the move out charges were fair but most were just rude and greedy. For example they charged for: tightening the cabinet handles putting in new bathroom faucets (they worked they just want me to pay for the new ones) they charged to tighten the towel rack they charged for the trip to home depot they charged me for lightbulbs they charged for an entirely new ceiling fan (it worked just one blade needed to be replaced) charged to refurbish the cabinets (which were old and it needed to be done regardless of anything I did) Also they had my car towed when it was parked in the parking space that belonged to me as a resident. I am deeply disappointed in this place and you should spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
