November 29, 2023I am disappointed in how my experience at this complex ended as it was not a negative experience until move out. I did not take this as a place that would try to milk you. I was especially disappointed at the threats of collections. They were unnecessary and just rude. Overall, it was not the best apartment and it was not the worst. However, it was not good enough to have to pay this much after moving out. I would just recommend weighing out options and if not receiving your deposit back and ...owing money is something you want to deal with. If I knew this was the result I would completely avoid it.Property Manager Responded

Terrible. Look elsewhere
September 3, 2021Management had 6 weeks to pass a pool inspection, fails inspection, keeping pool closed for the entire time. Owners refuse to give discount on rent despite not providing amenities advertised. Don't expect to use the pool if you come here.Review from Apartments.com
No Pool As Advertised
September 3, 2021Unfortunately this apartment complex became less than ideal when management changed. The new payment system is awful. The pool has also been closed for 6+ weeks due to them forgetting to schedule an inspection, then failing the inspection they had weeks to prepare for, and now they claim it's closed because a part is on back order. I personally chose this apartment complex over others for the nice pool. I guess jokes on me since I can't use it.Review from Apartments.com
The Real Review of Puerta Villa and the Bohanan Corporation
November 29, 2016The corporation in charge of Puerta Villa are cheap on their foundation standards, cheap when it comes to customer service, and cheap on the grounds of their apartment complexes. The pool was down last year for 3 months during the summer! Over 30 units got flooded from a rain storm and they were not well accommodated as they should have been. They have taken out most of the grass from the community and put rocks. The floors in the apartments are made of extremely cheap fake wood, which will get ...bubbles and dents in them that you will have to pay for. For what you pay to live at these apartment complexes, you are not getting what you pay for. The apartment manager of Puerta Villa will refuse customer service upon her community. Fantastic place to live!
September 25, 2015I've lived here for over a year and a half now and I love it! Its a pet friendly community which is great because i have a pit mix (which is a breed that is frowned upon at many other properties). There are pet stations throughout the property and plenty of grassy areas. The ladies in the leasing office are very helpful as well and very professional. Not to mention, the maintenance crew! Everything is always taken care of within 24 hrs and I have never had any problems with them.Review from Apartments.com

Great apartment
July 27, 2015We really love how unique our apartment is. When you enter our front door you go up stairs which is in our apartment. We love our rooms, we have a 2 bedroom, they are divided by our living room and kitchen. There are washer dryer hookups and refrigerated air is included. The bathrooms are spacious and have beautiful mirrors. The only negative aspect I can think of is the kitchen is small and has little storage. Also the walls are thin, I have quiet neighbors so it is not a big deal. The office ...staff is friendly and always helpful which is a big plus!
