  • the buck stops here

    June 5, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I signed my lease the same day I toured the apartment, which is something I had never done before. At the time, I had already toured several other buildings. Most of them felt rushed, and getting straight answers about pricing was surprisingly difficult. There always seemed to be another fee that wasn't mentioned until later. My experience here was different. Aaron walked me through the apartment, answered every question directly, and explained the pricing clearly. There were no surprises and ...
no pressure. After the tour, I sat in my car for a few minutes and realized I was done looking. The apartment was exactly what I wanted, the building was clean, and the staff had been great to deal with. I went back inside and signed the lease that afternoon. Years later, I still think it was one of the easiest housing decisions I've ever made.

  • 5 star staff

    June 5, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I've visited this building many times over the years and have always been impressed by how well it's run. The property is consistently clean, well maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere every time I stop by. One thing that really stands out is the staff. They're friendly, professional, and genuinely seem to care about the residents and the property. You can tell there's a lot of pride in how the building is managed because the common areas always look great and issues seem to get addressed ...
quickly. I've seen a lot of apartment buildings throughout Los Angeles, and it's obvious when a property has a strong management team behind it. This is one of those places. Based on everything I've observed, I would have no hesitation recommending it to someone looking for a well-managed apartment community.

  • Joaquin is the man!!!

    June 4, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I've lived here for quite a while and one thing I've noticed is how seriously the staff takes keeping the building clean and well maintained. A while back, a visitor came into the building with a dog and unfortunately the dog had an accident right in the lobby. Before most residents even knew it had happened, Joaquin was already on it. He cleaned everything up quickly and thoroughly, and by the time I came back through the lobby a little later, you never would have known anything had happened. ...
That's actually pretty typical of what I've seen living here. Joaquin is constantly walking the property, checking on things, and making sure everything is in good shape. Aaron and the management team have always been responsive as well. It's easy to take a well-maintained building for granted, but after living in other apartments, I've learned that it only happens when the staff genuinely cares. That's definitely been my experience here.

  • very responsive management!

    June 4, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I’m pretty sure I’ve become the building’s unofficial garbage disposal problem resident. Somehow I keep dropping things into mine and jamming it up. First it was a spoon, then a bottle cap, and most recently a small utensil. Every time I think, “Okay, this is definitely going to be a huge hassle.” But every single time, Aaron has been quick to respond and Joaquin has come by and gotten it fixed way faster than I expected. He’s always friendly about it too, even though I’m sure he’s wondering how ...
I keep managing to do this. Honestly, it’s one of the reasons I enjoy living here. Stuff happens when you live in an apartment, and having a management team that responds quickly and treats residents well makes all the difference. Aaron and Joaquin have always been great, and the building is clearly run by people who care.

  • Really happy to be here!

    May 29, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I’ve lived here since the building first opened after construction was finished, and after all these years I can honestly say it’s been a great place to live. One of the biggest reasons is the people who run and maintain the property. Over time I’ve gotten to know the staff and management pretty well, and they’ve always treated residents with kindness and respect. Aaron has always been professional and easy to talk to, and Joaquin works incredibly hard. You constantly see him making rounds ...
around the building, checking on things, keeping everything clean, and making sure residents are happy and taken care of. It’s actually pretty rare to find a building where the staff is this involved and attentive. The building has stayed well maintained over the years and still feels cared for, which says a lot. Living here has honestly felt more personal than just being another tenant in a big apartment building.

  • The building looks beautiful!

    May 27, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I first saw this building being built a few years ago while I was driving to work and couldn't wait to see it when it was finished. Once it opened up, I booked a tour and fell in love with an upper unit overlooking the city. My move-in process was smooth and everyone worked so hard to accommodate my short timeframe. So far, it's been a pleasure living here and I hope to stay for many more years into the future! Yay!
  • Highly recommend! Very reliable management!

    May 27, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I accidentally locked myself out of my apartment at around 2am after taking my dog outside and realized my phone and keys were both still inside my unit. I was honestly panicking because I thought I was going to be stuck outside all night, but the management team here really came through for me. I reached out to Aaron and got a response way faster than I expected for that time of night, and Joaquin was able to help me get back into my apartment quickly and safely. They were both really ...
understanding about the situation and treated me with kindness instead of making me feel embarrassed for making a dumb mistake. That experience honestly said a lot to me about how well this building is managed. It’s nice knowing there are people here who actually care and respond when residents need help.

  • great apt. and staff

    May 26, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
When I first came to tour the building, I actually got confused trying to find the lobby and ended up walking around the block looking completely lost. I called the office and instead of just trying to explain directions over the phone, Aaron actually came outside and found me himself, which honestly left a really good first impression. I ended up leasing here and I’m really happy I did. The management and staff have been great the whole time I’ve lived here. Everyone’s been friendly, ...
responsive, and easy to deal with, which makes a huge difference in apartment living. I even lost my apartment key once and was stressed about being locked out for days, but they helped me get a replacement the same day without making it a huge hassle. It’s just been a genuinely positive experience overall.

  • Great staff and well maintained building

    May 25, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I’ve had a genuinely great experience living at Live at La Brea, which honestly feels rare these days with apartment living in LA. From the beginning, Aaron made the move-in process smooth and stress-free and has always treated residents with professionalism and respect. You can tell he actually cares about the property and the people living here instead of just treating it like another building. Joaquin also deserves a huge shoutout. He’s always friendly, hardworking, and quick to help whenever ...
something comes up. It’s reassuring knowing there’s someone onsite who takes pride in maintaining the building and making sure issues are handled properly. The property itself is clean, well maintained, and in an amazing central location close to everything. After dealing with poorly managed apartments in the past, living here has honestly been a refreshing experience.

  • Nice Tour

    May 20, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
Really positive experience here so far. The leasing office was straightforward and easy to work with, which is refreshing in Los Angeles apartment hunting. The apartments themselves are modern, the amenities are nice, and the management team has treated residents respectfully. Definitely one of the better-run buildings I’ve experienced in the area.
  • Nice community

    May 19, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I'm glad I made the decision to be a resident here! I moved from out of state and it's been a pleasure living in LA... except for the traffic, of course. But the building itself looks brand new and all of the people I've interacted with have been great so far (well, let's hope that never changes lol). Highly recommend!
  • i love this place!

    May 18, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com
I’ve lived at Live at La Brea for a while now and honestly the experience has been great. The management team has always been responsive whenever I’ve needed something, and maintenance requests get handled much faster than at other buildings I’ve lived in around LA. The building is kept clean, the location is super convenient, and overall it’s been a really comfortable place to live.
